If I am correct, Ohr's 302s in some form will appear in the FISA renewals.
I don't think so. Ohr has never been an intelligence agent, nor has he worked in counter-intel. Further his 302s would only expose the circular verification coming from the same sources, Simpson and Steele.

That was the biggest sin of the original Title I FISA app on Page. That they hid the fact that the Isikoff article came from Steele, too, instead presenting it as independent verification.

Also remember Glenn Simpson and his wife, Mary Jacoby, had a long term grudge (more an obsession) with Paul Manafort years before he was affiliated with the Trump Campaign. But once Manafort became Campaign Manager, they had more attraction for the mainstream press and could plant their years old complaints about Manafort with a rabid press.

Even if it is turned in today, it will not be public or even go to Congress. It goes to the AG for review.

Maybe, maybe not. there's still the Manafort sentencing in DC next week. Plus Mueller hasn't handed off the Concord case back to DOJ, yet. (He handed of the GRU bot farm case to Nat Sec at DOJ immediately after he filed the indictment.)

After that utterly bizarre sentencing hearing, that didn't actually result in a sentencing but where the judge went way off of the rails, I would have thought they might have tried to do so very quietly, in chambers.

Thanks for the response, BTW.

Yeah. The whole Flynn thing is collapsing on them and they're not sure what to do.

Flynn was the one that asked that his sentencing be delayed, not the government. He's also accepted responsibility for what he's done, and knows it was wrong. Mueller had already recommended little to no jail time, and if he has additional information, it's very possible he won't get any jail time.

This idea that the case around Flynn is collapsing is almost tin-foil hat territory.

And that slight difference matters, how? In what way does that signal that the case around Flynn is collapsing?

I'm of the mind that Flynn may not get any jail time. But that doesn't mean that he's "beat" Mueller or that the case around him fell apart. His maximum penalty wasn't that great (5 years?) and by all accounts, he's been very helpful to Mueller in other investigations. So he's entitled to some reduction to that sentence, and is likely to get a very good one.

Not disagreeing with you as no one really knows what was going on behind the scenes. Having said that, there were some irregularities with the original 302 in January 2017 by Strzok and Pienta. The original 302 wasn't filed until February, after Andy McCabe had a hand in its creation and editing. The same Andy McCabe who had a personal beef with Flynn. We know that from the Page/Strzok texts.

But then the 302 shown to the court was dated August 2017 and was a 302 on Strzok, not Flynn. And at that weird sentencing hearing, even the judge was expressing some skepticism.

Again, no way of knowing how truly damning or not but worth noting.

This is a thread by Sundance in which he provides info that strongly suggests Nellie Ohr was/is CIA...at least she was working for the US Government...which is why there has been a concerted effort to shield her from scrutiny. Worth a read.

To me, the strongest evidence is found in Judicial Watch's FOIA requests & Government responses referenced in the above thread:

http://www.judicialwatch.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/JW-v-DOJ-Ohr-Steele-Fusion-GPS-00490.pdf

If you peruse the above, you will discover that Nellie Ohr was providing regular 'Internet Notes' summaries on usually Russian subjects to the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) & her husband (ODAG) from October 2015 into September 2016...she had to be on the US Government payroll somehow. Yet we just saw in the Bruce Ohr transcripts from the HPSCI where Bruce testified that Nellie began working for Fusion GPS in late 2015. Sure sounds like a 'private contractor' to me...perhaps one of those 'private contractors' accessing the NSA databases.

More investigations into Ohr's testimony & Judicial Watch's FOIA on Ohr -- great thread.

Well, well, So Bruce Ohr provided info from Steele's early Dossier reports to McCabe & Page on July 30, 2016, one day before Crossfire Hurricane was opened by the FBI. I wonder if any of these dossier details were included in the EC for Crossfire Hurricane. We previously have been led to believe that Papadopoulos was the primary target when the FBI opened this investigation, but the early Dossier reports contain info about Trump, Page & Manafort. Apparently Ohr was told details from the Dossier by Steele at a DC hotel on July 30, not given actual reports, so we don't know much in the way of specifics.

The "firewall" mentioned in Steele's March 17, 2017 text to Ohr prior to Comey's testimony has always intrigued me .... "hoping that firewalls will continue to hold." Looking back 2 years at the now known dossier collaborators ... did the firewalls hold?

https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/03/paul-manafort-worked-for-ukraine-not-russia/

Quote:

Paul Manafort, the clandestine agent of Russia at the heart of the Trump campaign's "collusion" scand -- oh, wait.

Have you ever noticed what Paul Manafort's major crime was? After two years of investigation, after the predawn raid in which his wife was held at gunpoint, after months of solitary confinement that have left him a shell of his former self, have you noticed what drew the militant attention of the Obama Justice Department, the FBI, and, ultimately, a special counsel who made him the centerpiece of Russia-gate?

According to the indictment Robert Mueller filed against him, Manafort was an unregistered "agent of the Government of Ukraine." He also functioned as an agent of Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine's president from 2010 to 2014, and of two political parties, the Party of Regions and its successor, the Opposition Bloc.

Manafort was not an unregistered agent of Russia. Mueller never alleged that Manafort was a clandestine operative of the Kremlin. He worked for Ukraine, not Putin. Indeed, for much of his time in Ukraine, he pushed his clients against Putin's interests.....

Understand: Paul Manafort would never have been prosecuted if he had not joined Donald Trump's campaign. He would not have been prosecuted if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 election and spared Democrats the need to conjure up a reason to explain their defeat -- something other than nominating a lousy candidate who stopped campaigning too early......

Yup!

An interesting thread. We tend to assume that SpyGate was/is primarily a scheme whose participants included the DNC/HRC, Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie, Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA, & a Brit -- Steele. Actually, it's far more complicated and also involves Never Trumpers like McCain/Kramer, UK Intel players such as Dearlove, Wood, Halper, Hannigan/MI6 & private intel companies Hakluyt & Orbit Business Intelligence, plus big time rollers in international organizations aligned against Russia....the latter organization sharing commonality via board directors. This thread highlights the little publicized actors, explains some of what they did, & how they acted in concert.

  • The Democracy Integrity Project's founder, a former staffer for Sen. Dianne Feinstein, has acknowledged to the FBI that the group provides information to the press, lawmakers and investigators.
  • Fund for a Better Future is the second Democracy Integrity Project donor to have been identified. George Soros gave $1 million to the group.
A dark money group with links to several high-profile liberal activists contributed $2 million to The Democracy Integrity Project, an organization founded by a former Dianne Feinstein staffer that has contracted with Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele to investigate President Donald Trump.

Fund for a Better Future (FBF) donated $2,065,000 to The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP) in 2017, according to IRS filings reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

TDIP was founded on Jan. 31, 2017, by Daniel Jones, a consultant who worked for Feinstein, a California Democrat, when she controlled the Senate Intelligence Committee. Jones has disclosed to the FBI that he hired Fusion GPS and Steele, the author of the anti-Trump dossier, to continue an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

He also told an associate that TDIP operated as a "shadow media organization helping the government." Jones suggested to the associate, Adam Waldman, that his TDIP team planted several anti-Trump articles....

Dan Jones founded the Penn Quarter Group as well -- we've discussed it.
Adam Waldman represents Oleg Deripaska.
You will remember that we first learned of Waldman & Jones via the tweets from Senator Warner pertaining to Steele & Julian Assange.
Birds of a feather flock together.

Quote:

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, the powerful chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, advised special counsel Robert Mueller to put President Donald Trump 'under oath' in the Russia probe as it's 'the best way to get the truth.'

'I do think ultimately it's a mistake because probably the best way to get the truth would be to put the president under oath,' Schiff told NBC's 'Meet the Press.'

'Because, as he's made plain in the past, he feels it's perfectly fine to lie to the public. After all, he has said, 'It's not like I'm talking before a magistrate.' Well, maybe he should talk before a magistrate,' the Democratic lawmaker added.

I'd love to kick his ass.
