Looking forward to Whitaker cleaning up shop starting with Rosey and Mueller. Guy knows how to get stuff done. Little patience with process.
Can he do it before the new Congress?
What does the "new congress" have to do with the DOJ.

What do mere state judges have to do with the CinC power on the border or on immigration?

The question was whether there were faux grounds the Democrats could hamstring Whitaker with as they have all along on anything Trump does.

What "state" judges have had anything to do borders and immigration? 9th circuit "federal" judges have been a PITA but the state judges mean basically nothing.

How can the Democrats in the House hamstring anything but a TV camera. Schiff will be on TV which he enjoys immensely and they will hold more than regular press conferences that mean actually nothing. They will not do nothing with immigration, they will be trying for 2 years to see Trump's taxes. And in 2020 they will lose the house back to the right.

Exactly what would be the charges against Assange? He's not the one hacking and stealing this stuff, he's publishing it. If WaPo and the Times could publish the Pentagon Papers with impunity, then why not Assange?
I betting they are going after conspiring to influence an election, and if they do the discovery will end them. By them I mean the whole Russia scam. The left only look at the short game
Conspiring to influence an election? Couldn't the same be said about Comey, Lynch, McCabe, Strzok and Page? Steele, Halper, Simpson, David Corn, Michael Isikoff?

Now, I am not saying Assange wouldn't have an uphill battle claiming he's just a publisher and should be accorded First Amendment protections, he would have such a battle. Absent such a finding, his refusal to name the sources for the materials he posts would subject him to contempt charges. But until he's actually in the States and ordered to provide that information, I'm not seeing which statutes he has violated. (Not saying it is impossible just that I don't know.)
Sure they could, just like the bogus conspiring to defraud the government garbage the SC was throwing around.

Pompeo has his own bones to make with Assange. Pompeo and Bolton can't wait to try and get their pound of flesh.

I don't think anything is going to happen to him. Lots and lots of smoke but no fire. Couple of years of potbanging and he'll be a distant memory.

Team Mueller is going to charge Corsi with a chickenshiit 18 USC 1001 charge for telling investigators that he told Stone about wikileaks emails, when in fact he didn't and since Stone has thrown their case on him back in their face, I suspect a document charge on Corsi and a lame plea deal. What a joke. CNN & MSNBC will make hay with some headlines linking it all to Trump.

Corsi is a joke. Its pathetic that Mueller had stooped low enough to go after him. He is lower than Alex Jones.

I promise your life will be more fulfilling if you drop this thread, don't watch local news, and don't watch any of the major "news" outlets including Fox and CNN.

Just unwatch this thread and the Q thread and that will be a nice step -
AFTER memorizing dcrinum's post above, you mean. Because that is about exactly what is going on. Meddling in Syria, even earlier Afghanistan -- all about pipelines. The more you know about the `Great Game' that led up to World War I, the more familiar this kind of thing will be. We are in a repeat of that kind of era -- WW II analogies mis-lead--- think of the international jousting and gamesmanship, and even violent conflicts in distant places--that led up to World War I.
On that note, here are some photos of some newspapers from 11 Nov 1918 that I recently had the chance to scan. It's interesting to see how the events after the Armistice were reported at the local leve in an age before wire services and a globalist media narrative. The subtext of the Kaiser's departure was that, "the Socialists are in control."

It's interesting that 100 years ago women were willing to buy supplements to help them gain weight. My how times have changed.

Hmmm.....US court hearing on Tuesday, and his lawyers can't see him.

Worth a glance at:

One wonders if Ecuador is just doing the bidding of the US government.

(Edit) P.S. I guess the latter is true:

This doesn't involve SpyGate directly, but what is occurring with the Khashoggi affair appears to have remarkable similarity...if this account is true...the UK's MI6 working to undermine the US, with Big Oil looming in the background.

Well worth a read. There may be far more to the Khashoggi affair than meets the eye, and this could have ramifications regarding whether or not Carter Page's FISA documents will be released.

Everyone wants to know who gave Assange the DNC emails...or do they? Could all be about setting up a situation where Assange can negotiate his freedom in return for 'information'.

This is an interesting speculation: The 2 countries lobbying against releasing the Carter Page Fisa documents are the UK & Turkey, not the UK & Australia. Read the thread posted above on this page from Read the Signs about the Khashoggi affair and how the Brits (MI6) are in bed with the Turks, with big oil looming in the background. Perhaps the Page FISA contains sections related to potential ME pipelines (Flynn & Papadopoulos) which involve Turkey (& potentially Russia).

I guess the Saudis are on the outside now since they are no longer major donors to the Clinton Foundation. Not having the Podestas as their lobbying firm also places the Saudis at a disadvantage regarding the Dems.

Not only was Mifsud in bed with UK & US intel agencies, now it is revealed that he was dealing with Aussie intel people in March 2016. And Mueller pegs him as a Russian agent? What a joke.

Quote:

Roger Stone associate Jerome Corsi says he is rejecting a plea deal offer by Robert Mueller's investigators and blasted the special counsel for what he termed 'Gestapo' tactics.

Corsi says Mueller's team offered him a \deal that would have him plead guilty to a single count of perjury but that he is refusing it.

'They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie,' Corsi, who used to run the Washington bureau for the InfoWars conspiracy theory site, told CNN.

Mueller's team is investigating whether informal Donald Trump advisor Roger Stone had advance knowledge during the campaign about WikiLeaks, which published thousands of hacked Democratic emails during the campaign.

Same reason cops are only interested in the people that break laws and tend to ignore those who didn't. At least trump is admitting Meuller has talked to people who did infact meet with, see and talk to Russians. That's a step in the right direction.

I wonder if Mueller met with the hundreds of people who flew on Obama Force One to Russia after the 2008 election but before the inaugural. You know, for context and to establish a control group.

Then why isn't Podesta under indictment? Your side had actual interaction with Russians and is provable. Mueller and his bs investigation is a farce. What's sad is that you know it too and still peddle this nonsense.

Not sure if serious...https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/373363-democratic-ties-to-russia-are-ample-and-often-ethically-dubious
Quote:

A Washington lobbying/consulting firm, the Podesta Group, founded by Obama adviser and Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and his brother, lobbied for Russia's largest bank, owned by the government (or, as you like, President Putin). John's brother, Tony, also lobbied for Ukrainian interests (reportedly in partnership with Trump associates Manafort and Gates). John Podesta left the firm years ago; Tony stepped down last November amid controversy over the lobbying. He has not been charged with any crimes.

The Podesta Group also represented Russia-owned Uranium One, which received approval from a federal oversight board that included the State Department under Hillary Clinton to buy about one-fifth of the U.S. production capacity of uranium, a key material for making nuclear weapons.
