And the FBI should interview DWS and Donna Brazile. They know how Marc Elias was moving the money around. Brazile even said in her book it was illegal what he was doing.

ETA: Although I don't think she pointed the finger directly at Elias.

This is Conspiracy and a False Claims Act violation at least (31 USC 3729). Creating the fraudulent information and then using it's polished content to get FISA warrants and surveillance while simultaneously obscuring the source of the information and who paid for it.

I hope Carter Page brings a 1983 action against them. Particularly, David Laufman. Currently, Monica McClean's attorney of record but he was head of the nat sec division in FBI/DOJ back then.

Dirty tricksters ... unless it can be proven Perkins Coie gave false information to the FBI they knew wasn't true ... which isn't likely because they engineered the scheme with multiple plausible deniability firewalls.

Rinse and repeat. It's a dirty-tricks playbook that can be repeated over and over ... and no crime can be easily proven.

So Perkins Coie is now saying that Sussmann wasn't acting on behalf of the firm when he was meeting with Baker, but was meeting as an individual on his own behalf.

Something new suggesting Carter Page was an intelligence operative.

He served in the U.S. Navy for five years, including a tour in western Morocco as an intelligence officer for a United Nations peacekeeping mission. Pretty sure we've known that for some time. Was the reason the Russians targeted hi to begin with, years earlier.

He may have been on the payroll of US intel for years...and still may be. Perhaps we will eventually find out.

Good read, rather detailed, about what's going on in the background of the FBI/DOJ.
Sundance thinks it's very unlikely we will see the IG report of FISA abuse before the Mid-terms.

When are we expecting the FISA applications and remainder of Page/Strzok texts that the OIG is redacting? Seems like that got lost during the Kavanaugh hearings.

I disagree with Sundance on the release, early voting starts this week in some states, and the rest next week. If there is one thing Trump understands is maximum impact. It's not that the results of the release will change either before and after the election, but the timing of it does have different results as far as voter impact. And what it will do is make a lot of people run for cover. With Nadler out their swearing on the lives of his children to go after Kavanaugh if he is in charge of the House Judiciary Committee, and Schiff doing the same thing on going after Trump, regardless of what Mueller produces, saving the House is priority one. The booming economy has made up the big gap in the numbers, which IMHO are skewed on purpose to have their own effect with the left, to keep them engaged, with this Kavanaugh nonsense, they need a hammer to knock the left to their knees, and these documents could be just that.

Notice who is quiet as a church house mouse as well. Has anyone heard from Warner lately? He's been basically invisible.

Don't misunderstand me...I want the declassified FISA documents released ASAP as well as the Ohr 302s. I also agree -- We need to wipe out the opposition in the midterms. I am becoming edgy though. I thought that 6 weeks before the election was the optimum time to drop the bomb. We are now less than 5 weeks from the Mid-terms and still no release, a release we have been promised for weeks.

Good luck with anything respective to mid-terms. Top to bottom, everyone at DOJ (including OIG) views themselves as a 4th branch of government.

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/410287-fbis-smoking-gun-redactions-protected-political-embarrassment-not

Quote:

To declassify or not to declassify? That is the question, when it comes to the FBI's original evidence in the Russia collusion case.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI have tried to thwart President Trump on releasing the evidence, suggesting it will harm national security, make allies less willing to cooperate, or even leave him vulnerable to accusations that he is trying to obstruct the end of the Russia probe.

Before you judge the DOJ's and FBI's arguments which are similar to those offered to stop the release of information in other major episodes of American history, from the Bay of Pigs to 9/11 consider Footnote 43 on Page 57 of Chapter 3 of the House Intelligence Committee's report earlier this year on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election....

...That means the redaction of Footnote 43 had more to do with political embarrassment than with national security. And that should concern us all....

...So, Mr. President, when you weigh those DOJ/FBI arguments against declassification, please don't forget the ruse of the redaction that was Footnote 43....

Article with an illustrative example disclosed last week that FBI/DOJ redactions have political motives instead of national security concerns. Hopefully Trump is reading it.

Sounds like Steele and his associates graduated from this program. Makes one wonder if Orbis Business Intelligence & Hakluyt are just fronts for unofficial GCHQ activities.

POTUS doesn't get redacted documents, Trump knows exactly what's under those redactions and has from day one if not sooner. Obama's executive privileged documents aren't sacred from the sitting POTUS. One of the percs or the of the chair behind the Resolute Desk. There is no higher security clearance that POTUS.

It was pretty much proven when they redacted the cost of McCabes conference table for his office, that the redactions were mostly political in nature.

Trump is rolling all this out with two things in mind, his leverage to make those not wanting to be cooperative, to be cooperative. Anyone questioning after two years whether or not he has the stones, is high as a kite. Trump knows he has to play his cards right and not overplay his hand. That's his "insurance policy" that keeps the wolves at bay. There is still a mob of deep staters just waiting for him to slip up so they can pounce. Their time is coming, and they know it and are terrified. All the sceptics can moan and bellyache all they want, they aren't in the middle of the swamp literally and surrounded by gators and water moccasins.

Im beginning to think maybe Rosenstein has possibly "flipped" and that he will have to go in front of the public and news tv to tell the entire truth of what happened? this would implicate those that asked the FBI / DOJ to do this and it would come directly from the horses mouth that ran the fake "Russian" probe.

Maybe this flight to Florida is about giving Rosenstein one last chance to flip and implicate those who made the FBI/DOJ do all of this. They could also be working on what Rosey would come out and say to the public.

This would be the ultimate stab in the back to the Dems that orchestrated this entire **** show, the FAKE news who have supported Rosey and the Dems for 2 years would be absolutely F ed in every since of the word.

Just a thought? makes no sense why Rosey is still around at this point?

I'm so tired of hearing "somebody flipped" or "somethings about to drop" that I could puke. Been hearing this for months and I think it's code for "nobody knows anything". Well something better happen PDQ because if the house goes to the dems, a lot of these investigations are going belly up.
