If there is strong evidence Rosenstein was aware the FISA court was being misled or fed incomplete information or specific exculpatory information was withheld from the court, and he approved that submission, his own authority comes severely into question.

Sara Carter and Hannity believe this will crush Rosenstein and Trump wants to do this to him because he appointed Mueller.

Hmmm.

The left publishes a fake letter in the NYT,

Trump counters with a few pages from a real FISA application that is going send some DOJ/FBI folks to jail.

Winner: Trump.

Dumb oss leftists.

And Trump has many more pages of damming docs to release. No fakes.

Great timing with Schiff for brains Booker attempting to release a confidential doc yesterday. I understand there are differences, but it's apples to pears. It'll be nice watching the left's mental gymnastics trying to reconcile the two within 48 hours.

No Mueller just wants him in the rearview ASAP, because things are soon to be really ugly.

His own law license comes into question. When a federal judge makes a referral to a state bar, they tend to pay attention to those.

Hannity and Sara Carter just said Trump is about to declassify 8-10 pages of the 4th FISA warrant signed by Rosenstein. Sara said it will blow this whole Mueller investigation to hell. Look for it later tonight or tomorrow, according to what I just heard on his radio program.

Oh goodie.

I am so puzzled by that two week sentence. Sure as hell isn't in any sentencing guideline that I have ever seen for a felony. Martha Stewart would have sacrificed one of her dogs to get only two weeks.

Makes no sense.

Like Judge Ellis said for Manafort, Papa is "composing" crap for Mueller. I hope the reports are true and Trump declassifies those 8-10 pages and crushes that evil elf Rosenstein.

Mueller wants scalps, any scalps.

He wanted 30 days for Papadopouius, the same that Dutch lawyer got, so was looking for nothing more than just another name on the wall that he got.

Completely disagree. Papadop has nothing to compose. He was railroaded by Mueller. That sentencing recommendation filing by Team Mueller falsified facts...they lied to get a stiffer sentence but the judge didn't fall for it, apparently.

Team Mueller cannot be happy here, unless they are relieved the judge didn't jump down their throats.

Trump can present thorny issues for Mueller* but ultimately our rule of law will be Mueller's downfall, in my view. His Team has committed enough violations of legal ethics that even the staunchest of defenders will take pause.

*Declassifying documents. Mueller will have a fruit of the poisonous tree problem...a big one that will directly affect even the guilty pleas he has obtained, thus far.

Assuming the news of Weissman being directly involved in the dossier, what, other than eithics issues, will he be guilty of? I'm certain there's an arms length eithics issues, but the Dems not only don't care, they don't observe that legal rule.

It seems to me there's some kind of a felonious/misdemeanor that Weissman is guilty of. Since he's never been disciplined, and only called out by one judge, his actions are guaranteed to continue. As usual, all Dems will not only support these actions, but make excuses for the behavior.

Just a question.

FYI, regarding the Times OP-ED, doesn't it seem that, if true, this person would be considered a spy? I'm asking because Trump brought up national securities issues today, and I currently agree, without further information.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.

If Trump can declassify all the documents or some, that must mean he has access to them and knows, or should know exactly what has happened?

Yes I would think so... Trump and his advisors have this planned out, he is Basically letting Meuller / Rosenstein / MSM dig their own grave... they keep adding poopoo on top of old and smelly poopoo... thus their pile keeps getting bigger and smellier ...

I wouldn't use the term "spy" just on the basis of the op-ed alone. That is not to say this person (if they exist) couldn't be working for a foreign government, however unlikely that is.

My issue is the origins of Mueller investigation. He took over a nearly 10 month old counter-intel investigation and all of the information gathered under that process. Lower level of probable cause to get a FISA warrant, not to mention no probable cause at all to do all of the unmasking under 702 "to and from" and "about" queries. The Obama Administration was conducting unmaskings of American citizens like they were passing out Halloween candy.

However, it is still unclear to me whether the NSA has the tracking ability to actually prove who committed which unmaskings. Further, since these people were specifically authorized by Obama to do this (infamous EO 12333) it is questionable whether they can actually be individually accused of a crime. (Remember the movie Clear and Present Danger where one of the bad guys takes a paper out of a safe, waves in Jack Ryan's face and said, "Do you have a get out jail free card like this?" It was a Presidential authorization. That's what I'm talking about.)

Is that a little clearer to you?
RoscoePColtrane
How long do you want to ignore this user?
As far as the unmaskings go, there is no crime since they were given the power to do so. It's going to be the dissemination of info that is the possible criminal act.

If any of it was passed to Farkas for instance to give to the Clinton Campaign, someone is going to prison. General Flynn leak to the press is a crime.

Pretty sure they have an exact count and ID on who was unmasking. Remember the Samantha Powers hearing where she unmasked 438 people in one year, and when confronted, she claimed that someone was unmasking in her name. That issue was just kinda left to lay, especially her claim of someone using her login to unmask. Hoping that is included in Horowitz FISA investigation, because that's a serious issue. If she shared her login info to someone not authorized to unmask she's committed a felony. Her unusual number is an issue, but not sure criminal. John Bolton held her same position for twice as long as she did, and he said he unmasked less than 40 in his entire tenure and Powers beat that times 11 in just one year. But the fact that Trey Gowdy was able to question her on specific unmaskings and her to be able to deny them as her work, tells me the NSA has everything.

Unmasking is an action in the Title 7 of FISA. When the 702 database is accessed american names are masked (ie. Citizen #1 Citizen #2 etc), unmasking is a formal request to the NSA to reveal the masked names so they can be viewed.

It's a huge argument as to whether it violates the 4th amendment.

There is a big rumor that Fiona Hill wrote the op-ed

Here's something I find interesting. Fiona Hill worked six years for George Soros' Open Society in New York. She also worked three years for the National Intelligence Council in Washington, D.C.

Here's her resume online with the Brookings Institute

DNC: Papadopoulos' UK contact may be dead

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Friday raised the prospect that the London-based professor who told former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos that Russia had "dirt" on Hillary Clinton may be dead.

DNC lawyers wrote in court filings Friday that Joseph Mifsud, who spoke to Papadopoulos during the 2016 presidential election, "is missing and may be deceased," Bloomberg News reported. The lawyers did not elaborate.
