I still can't get over how Clapper is on CNN's pay roll.

This deal had to be set up before he retired. How does and intelligence official get to make up intelligence while serving and then, when it turns out to be false, go work for a network to try and justify it using their previous title as cover.

Circular Media Reasoning.

A new tactic in Popolitics ( I coined that term).
Suppose I was an idiot. Suppose I was a member of congress. But, I repeat myself.

I'm not sure if the name Clapper and the word "intelligence" can be used in the same paragraph in an intelligent and meaningful way. Anyone who willingly participates in a scheme to remove a POTUS...............

It is a crime, stupid! A very serious crime.

Motion 41 is the one where the Statute of Limitations was secretly suspended by a Magistrate, IIRC.

Interesting. I wonder if there will be any commentary on the double-super-secret-probation August 2 memo.

Plays into the motions to suppress. If Mueller doesn't have proper jurisdiction, the search warrants were improperly obtained, besides the other legal issues involving the storage unit.

Looks like Twitter suspended Rex's account. I'm sure due to the fallout with the CNN reporter. Maybe it was because he retweeted MF Barnes, who knows.

Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.

https://spectator.org/the-london-to-langley-spy-ring/

Quote:

The London-to-Langley Spy Ring

Even before the first Republican primary, a London-to-Langley spy ring had begun to form against Donald Trump. British spies sent to CIA director John Brennan in late 2015 alleged intelligence on contacts between Trumpworld and the Russians, according to the Guardian.
Here's the crucial paragraph in the story:
Quote:

GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious "interactions" between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.
Notice it doesn't say the "Trump campaign" but "figures connected to Trump." One of those figures was Michael Flynn, who didn't join the campaign until February 2016. But Brennan and British intelligence had already started spying on him, drawing upon sham intelligence from Stefan Halper, a long-in-the-tooth CIA asset teaching at Cambridge University whom Brennan and Jim Comey would later send to infiltrate the Trump campaign's ranks.

It appears that Halper had won Brennan's confidence with a false report about Flynn in 2014 a reported sighting of Flynn at Cambridge University talking too cozily with a Russian historian. Halper had passed this absurdly simpleminded tattle to a British spy who in turn gave it to Brennan, as one can deduce from this euphemistic account in the New York Times about Halper as the "informant":

Quote:

The informant also had contacts with Mr. Flynn, the retired Army general who was Mr. Trump's first national security adviser. The two met in February 2014, when Mr. Flynn was running the Defense Intelligence Agency and attended the Cambridge Intelligence Seminar, an academic forum for former spies and researchers that meets a few times a year.
According to people familiar with Mr. Flynn's visit to the intelligence seminar, the source was alarmed by the general's apparent closeness with a Russian woman who was also in attendance. The concern was strong enough that it prompted another person to pass on a warning to the American authorities that Mr. Flynn could be compromised by Russian intelligence, according to two people familiar with the matter [italics added].
Again, that's early 2014 and a file on Flynn is already sitting on Brennan's desk. In 2015, as word of Flynn's interest in the Trump campaign spreads, the London-to-Langley spy ring fattens the file with more alarmist dreck that Flynn had gone to a Russian Television gala and so forth. By February 2016, when it is reported that he has joined the Trump campaign as an adviser, the spy ring moves into more concerted action....

The London to Brennan spy ring, initially set in motion by Stefan Halper.

I had speculated many pages back that the 2014 warning to the Obama Administration that Russians were trying to hack voter data bases likely resulted in a counter-intel operation that put certain people, on the Russian side of the equation in the spotlight and they were continually surveilled. Any contacts with American or British persons would be noted. Guilt by association, so to speak.

But somehow that went sideways into alleging and believing that any contacts between people later associated with Trump became enough evidence to issue National Security Letters and FISA warrants. In the classic Beria gambit, once they identified the man, they then went to search for the crime, or at the least contacts that they then spun into nefarious activities. No matter how incidental the "contact" may have been.

For example the hoopla over Sessions being at the RNC Convention at the same time as Kislyak (and a few thousand other people) and Kislyak stopping by Sessions' Senate office. Remember how a number of Dems immediately said they never met or spoke with Kislyak and thus Sessions was doing something nefarious? Only to have their twitter feeds and official FB posts scoured, finding indeed they did meet with Kislyak on multiple occasions? IIRC, it was Pelosi, McCaskill and Feinstein who made those debunked claims.

My initial thought as well, but if he's former FBI he knows all the tricks to stay breathing. Probably has his testimony electronically archived with dead man switches, etc.

Bad actors are better off taking on this dude while he's alive...they'll still have to eat a **** sandwich but in this case would have to take bigger bites if they erased him.

Would be nice if MOAB was strictly reserved for an actual arrest/perp walk. This poster has about lost any hope that will ever happen to anyone except the lowest of low hanging fruit and zero impact players with little, if any name recognition.

IMHO, the only real impact from any of this will be a boat load of $ will move from one party (defendants) to another...their lawyers. Afterwards, the swamp may appear different but will continue to stink like all swamps do because the creatures will only have swapped places.

I still think a few perp walks will have a deterrent effect on the downstream worker bees when instructed to get outside of their lanes.

The problem with the NSA is the bigger problem, IMO. They need to tighten their ship so they can keep track of who is accessing their data-base and for which matters, USPers, dates, times, etc.
