This entire Avenatti debacle that he printed up hurriedly threw together stinks and I'm pretty certain where it came from. Had Avenatti found a banking insider to get this stuff for him you can bet it would have been the right Michael Cohen. This smells of a raw data mine name query that was passed to Avenatti from the DOJ and they likely fully expected this knucklehead to run them don't and verify who was who. Michael Cohen is like John Smith, pretty common name. And instead of taking the raw data and sorting through it to find out who was who, he just put them all in that bogus report on his letterhead and published them all. What a complete idiot, and someone in the DOJ is going to jail over this.

He got lucky and got the AT&T payments right, Novartis, and Columbus Nova, but all that other was garbage and there's nothing illegal about these three deals. Columbus has also disputed that they are a Russian Owned front company, which they aren't, they are US owned and they denied that any Russian Oligarchs using it for a conduit to funnel money.

I'm not trying to be cynical here. While you certainly don't see as many leaks today as immediately after the inauguration, there still flying out the window pretty damned fast. I bring this up because there doesn't seem to be any fear from the leakers. As such, they must not be getting identified, and dealt with accordingly.

I very much understand the Dems behavior. It smacks of patriotism, but not the kind you and I believe. Their patriotism is a clear black and white view of good vs evil, America be damned! So it's either one---the leakers have to risk their jobs and freedom for the betterment of all, or two----they're being asked to leak, and they know they won't be caught!

Or is it just a case of 90% of the DOJ/FBI are Dems, and no one wants to investigate and prosecute. Sessions certainly won't do anything.

I've wondered if the Michael Avenetti bafoonery with all of the incorrect persons named isn't a ruse to smoke out leakers. He's a dumb enough patsy they may have planted multiple things with persons knowing it will work its way to him, ensnaring multiple leakers.
