He is preparing for his book tour -- "A Higher Loyalty" -- scheduled to be released on April 17.

Only a man who was/is hated by both parties would think his book, on that subject, would sell.

His publisher is fixing to take a bath.

I wonder how he got his book approved so quickly, it normally takes a while. All Justice Department employees must be cleared to publish writings based on their work.

Quote:

Mueller puts Paul Manafort in his sights after ANOTHER guilty plea as oligarch's lawyer son-in-law admits he secretly taped call to Ukraine conducted in Russian then lied about it

  • Alex Van der Zwaan pleaded guilty Tuesday afternoon to lying to the FBI. He is a Dutch citizen and a London-based attorney
  • Dutch-born, London-based attorney, 33, admits he made 'false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements'
  • Lied when he said his last communication with Rick Gates, ex-Trump camapaign chair Paul Manafort's deputy, was in August 2016
  • He in fact spoke to Gates in September, secretly recorded him, and held onto emails being sought by investigators, the feds claim
  • Claimed his last communication was an innocuous text message but lied and deleted emails - and has also been terminated by his law firm
  • His father-in-law is one of three oligarchs to appear in the infamous 'golden showers' dossier who have sued a political intelligence firm over its release
  • The LA Times reported Sunday that Gates will himself plead guilty to fraud charges and will agree to testify against his longtime partner Paul Manafort

This case was filed today by Mueller. Another 'small fish' on a process charge, apparently aimed at Manafort.
I am only posting this to call it to your attention if you did not know about it. But wait...there is more to this than meets the eye. There is a thread in progress to which friscodick alluded.

The subject of the tweet you posted is what boggles my mind about all of this. I'm neither a Republican nor a Democrat and I didn't vote for Trump. I've become completely fascinated by the story for the past couple of weeks because I believe this could end up being one of biggest news stories of my lifetime. I've been listening to CNN and Fox News to get both sides of the story. We have some sort of treason on our hands by either the leadership of the Democratic Party or the POTUS. The MSM and CNN in particular should be licking their chops at a scandal this big. Not only has CNN refused to at least acknowledge the shift in information, they appear to be complicit in covering for one side by pushing distraction stories (i.e. Not denouncing Rob Porter).

For those who are interested in the Flynn case, this is a good article.

LINK

Explains the significance of Judge Sullivan's sua sponte* order on discovery from last Friday.

*Sua sponte means "on his own," as in not in response to a motion from a party. Judge Sullivan, as normal course of conducting business in his court, issues what are called Brady orders. (See article.) He revised his standard order on Friday for the Flynn case. (Hint: Not good for Mueller.)

The one problem is that Judge Sullivan's order was in place in the rest of his cases on November 20, 2017, when he issued Amended Standing Brady Orders. Judge Sullivan gets the Flynn case on December 7, and issues his Standing Brady Order on December 12. For whatever reason, the wrong (old) version was uploaded, and no one noticed until recently. So the Amended order was filed. The only difference between the two orders is that any exculpatory evidence that came about during plea agreements must now be turned over. In fact, it really just changed the standard applied to the evidence that must be turned over. Judge Sullivan changed it from "favorable and material" evidence in plea cases, to "any exculpatory evidence in ththe government's possession."

My gut is telling me that there isn't going to be any kind of bombshell coming forward. Maybe there is something there, but I'm highly skeptical.

https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/966121512825585664.html?refreshed=yes

Took awhile but I finally was able to get the full thread in threadreader.
I would recommend reading the full thread, because it contains some worrisome tidbits regarding Paul Manafort, Tony Podesta, Hillary Clinton, 2 former Clinton cronies, the Clinton Foundation, and a big time CF donor from the Ukraine. Van der Zwaan is just a minnow; i.e., the low handing fruit -- if you read the List of Offenses I posted earlier, you will see that he speaks and writes Russian, probably his major purpose in the whole adventure. I'll post the concluding section below:

Quote:

36. But back to the indictment of Alex van der Zwaan.
I have no idea what Mueller is up to, but what is being revealed to me is a large illegal scheme to conceal lobbying for a pro-Putin stooge in Ukraine - and launder the money.

37. A small part of that scheme was to use a global law firm to produce a report supporting a pro-Russian stooge in Ukraine.
Presumably, the weak link in the team is this kid Van der Zwaan. Presumably, he is singing like a canary. What is he saying?

38. If I'm right, he's revealing that Manafort & Gates paid the Clinton cronies (Craig & Sloan) to write a report propping up Yanukovych.
And that he was directed to lie about that. The anon in the indictment? Could be a Ukrainian, Craig, Sloan - or Tony Podesta himself.

39. Connect dots. At the same time, the Clinton Foundation was being paid by his Ukrainian backer, Pinchuk, to ensure Clinton's backing of the regime - which helped Pinchuk.
Makes sense?

40. Again, may be wrong. But I think we will see that Podesta was also far more heavily involved in the entire scheme than we know - and acted as an intermediary between Bill Clinton/ Clinton Foundation, as well as Hillary as SOS.

41. Part of this will be confirmed by 'missing' emails, part by the transfer of funds between all parties.
Much by Gates, Van der Zwaan, these partners and of course, Podesta himself - who must be behind Mueller's indictment today.

42. Which will confirm what smart people in our remote corner of twitter already know - the Clintons and their small army of crooks were selling the USA to the highest bidder - and Hillary Clinton was using State as a sales department for the Clinton Foundation. Right?

43. And all this time, Obama did NOTHING to stop it. He was either a total idiot, fully involved himself - or the Clintons had leverage over him. Right now, I am leaning #1 & #3. The answer that riddle is for another thread.

44. To close, the question again : why would two Clinton cronies (the partners he worked for) at the firm write that report (with the hapless Van der Zwaan on the team)?
Answer: MONEY and POWER.

45. And it wasn't good for the USA.
But it was most certainly good for business.
CLINTON business.

The end.

Want to read some more on Page? You will find this interesting.

https://brightestyoungthings.com/articles/a-conversation-with-carter-page

When he is in his realm and relaxed, he comes across as very intelligent and well spoken. Put him under pressure like before the HPSIC and let former prosecutor Rep. Adam Schiff go after him, then he transforms into a scared amateur. I've watched several TV interviews and he doesn't perform well when pressed. Personally I think he is an ivory-tower academic who possesses high intellect, but he is one of those kind that lacks practical common sense in the real business world. He would be better off in a classroom teaching. He is no spy or FBI agent IMO; that thread is guilty of embellishment. If he is a spook, then he does a darn good job of disguising it.

After reading that thread on him, I think it is certain he is/was a spook.

His "shtick" now is either a cover or he has to be so careful with words that he just plays it out in real time debating what info not to say.... That is what I see.

But from his letters and writings, if he did author all of those in thread, he is clearly privy to TONS of info that he could not elaborate on in a public setting.

Shoot, even Comey sounds like an idiot when pressed on classified intel. If EVERYTHING that Page deals with is in the "need to know" realm, I can understand his persona more.

I learned something from this thread. This is how the Obama Admin ended up unmasking hundreds of people, although the unmasking part was clearly illegal. And then they passed rules allowing the info and unmaskings to be passed around to multiple government agencies...think Evelyn Farkas. Weaponized political spying at its finest.

How The Media Enable Rep Adam Schiff's Russian Bot Conspiracy Theories

Adam Schiff is a snake who specializes in disinformation. He has been able to get away with the fake 'Russian bot' narrative because of willing accomplices in the MSM (read the above article). But this isn't going to work with the Schiff Memo because there already has been too much public scrutiny IMO, and for this reason, I doubt we will ever see the Schiff Memo.

The only reason the left hates Comey is he talked to congress in October. The only reason he talked to congress is he had to because someone discovered he and others FBI leadership knew they had found more emails and were then obligated to inform the relevant committees. He would have sat in that info if he could have, and they did close it back down probably faster than was humanly possible.
