My understanding is that Mueller removed the Flynn matter from consideration of the Virginia grand jury and convened his own in DC to get an overwhelmingly Black grand jury pool. The grand jury in Virginia was much more racially balanced and he didn't trust them to indict Flynn. Hence the bait and switch. Had the Virginia grand jury returned with a no bill of indictment, Mueller would have been screwed. He couldn't let that happen.

(And yes, that was legal, technically. Ethically? No.)

So what are Strzok, the Ohr's, Lisa Page, and I imagine others doing these days? They have been demoted, taken off cases, probably isolated ... Strzok was kicked off Muellers team back in the summer.

Do they even go in to work anymore? Spend their time lawyer-ing up? Go into hiding? Fear for their lives? They have got to know they are in deep ****, don't you think? And everyone else has got to know they are in deep ***** And some of those who know have got to know that they may be in deep **** themselves.

Not that I care at all about them but it is pretty darn quiet in their corner.

I'm definitely willing to believe he's dirty as hell but as yet he's been skating by without his name being implicated in anything besides his proximity though...right?

I have suspected more than just three involved in the vague meeting in Andy's office, except only three names were mentioned. So for the disclosed actions to have happened, there is no way Bill Priestap could not have been NOT in the loop. If he is not directly involved, at least a tacit understanding is suspect. Has anyone also noticed Bill Priestap's absence from all the questioning so far with the different committees. It jumps right out at you. I suspect that he is cooperating with the IG and/or Mueller.

Yup. And that's a good theory.

All the upper level guys are dirty. I think the line and field level agents are clean and helping to take out the trash.

One thing I don't get:

If FBI was working with Fusion GPS and Crowdstrike(?) back in April 2016 to surveil Trump (and other candidates?) and collect data that eventually went into the Steele dossier which was used to get a FISA warrant, why get a FISA warrant?

A FISA warrant just lets them do what they were already doing. Why go thru the motion to get one?
