I honestly think that Trump's part in this has been done for some time, and Muller has let Ty Cobb know it, but has told them just to sit tight and let the real targets thinks that Mueller is still after Trump. The minute Mueller clears Trump publicly, they left is going to go berserk, and any left targets are going to lawyer up tight and start pleading the 5th. As long as they think Trump is still the target and the focus, they will keep relaxed and talking to their insiders in the DOJ and digging their own graves. Trump knows how to play the part, and it builds up his solid base a bit more. The next 30 days are going to change american political history and the swamp with be draining just as Trump said he would do. If mueller had anything on Trump they would already been closed in on him.Rockdoc said:
If Mueller hasn't got anything on trump, he needs to just shut the trump part of it down and make a public announcement stating same. If he's gonna be world prosecutor that goes on forever, it needs to be stated.
Bank records showed that 10 days ago. The records also showed Barry''s Obama for America (Now called Organizing for Action) paid $900k to the same firm at the same time. According to their FEC filing they paid Perkins Coie, LLP $700,000.00 on 9/29/16. OFA in 2016, paid nearly $800,000 to Perkins Coie in 2016 alone, according to FEC records. The first 2016 payments to Perkins Coie, classified only as "Legal Services," were made April 25-26, 2016, and totaled $98,047. A second batch of payments, also classified as "Legal Services," were disbursed to the law firm on September 29, 2016, and totaled exactly $700,000. Payments from OFA to Perkins Coie in 2017 totaled $174,725 through August 22, 2017.Rockdoc said:
Has anybody come up with tangible evidence that Hillary funded the dossier? I'm sure she did, but what is the evidence?
Absolutely. If you remember the Comey Testimony, when he was asked by Gowdy and Chafetz why the FBI never pressured the DNC or the DNCC to hand over their servers, Comey exclaimed that they had been examined my a trusted contractor that the FBI works with regularly. We all know now that this trusted firms was CrowdStrike, and CrowdStrike was the real author of that IC report claiming Russia hacked them and three agencies concurred (FBI, CIA, DIC) yet the media and dems went with the "17 IC agencies agree" narrative for months until it was proven to be false and that narrative died a slow death.drcrinum said:
The Last Refuge/TCTH also suspected CrowdStrike was one of the contractors in addition to Fusion GPS.
She is connected this way: She is the leader of her campaign. Her campaign completely coopted the DNC. Thats what allowed the money-laundering on the previous page to occur...Hillary's campaign effectively ran the DNC and had final say on everything. So Hillary == Hillary's Campaign == DNC. Anything the DNC did can be taken to mean it was a Hillary action. So Hillary/DNC paid Fusion GPS through a middleman, a law firm named Perkins Coie. They wanted to disguise it and claim attorney/client privilege if any attempt were made to reveal their clients actions. It didn't work, and the House Intel Committee has the bank records now.Rockdoc said:

Perkins Coie is also the law firm that represents Obama for America. I started a thread some time back about this law firm being at the center of a large web.Quote:

This is an old article, but Paul Sperry just tweeted it out this morning. Not really sure what it means and may just be some self promotion on his part, but seems a little weird.
Trump reads TexAgs!
Also, CrowdStrike lines up perfectly with the April 2016 timeline.RoscoePColtrane said:

I would expect the civil suit to which you refer will be dismissed and Manafort's lawyers will then try to attack Mueller's appointment and jurisdiction within the confines of the criminal indictment. IOW, expect multiple appeals before it is all said and done.drcrinum said:
Hmmm...Pretending he is doing something? Maybe this is just a distraction since Manafort is suing Mueller.
Depends on whether the judge allows the cameras in. My guess is the cameras are barred.Just an Ag said:
What happened to the scuttlebutt that Mueller was going to make additional charges on Manafort?? Never materialized?
I predict wall-to-wall Manafort news coverage, just keep in mind these crimes predate any Russian Collusion. But still, wall-to-wall coverage. Crime of the Century type of coverage?

Illegal surveillance since 2012? Just think of the potential ramifications? For instance...government contracts...permitting your donor buddy to secretly learn about a competitor's plans. It first started with a special prosecutor in Jan 1994 ... and lasted 6 months without sufficient evidence. Then Congress reauthorized the independent counsel and a 3-judge panel appointed Ken Starr in Aug 1994 to resume the investigation ... and 3.5 years later, Ken Starr shut down the Whitewater investigation without sufficient evidence (Dec 1997).
Then a month later the phone rang with dirt on Clinton/Lewinsky and the rest is history.
Except that when you enter the search parameters, all sorts of links appear, and those that don't apply are 'supposed' to be deleted. I believe it can be a broad net when manipulated appropriately (disguised), and if one doesn't sequester the info, who would know. Sort of like a fishing expedition...you never know what you will catch...but if you throw everything back into the ocean that you do catch, no one knows that you ever caught anything.benchmark said:Assuming this was limited to 702 abuse of NSA surveillance of Americans conv with non-citizens?drcrinum said:

I mentioned this very thing the other day and a couple of policy wonkers pooh poohed it. It's called a soft query. It's not official, and nothing can be used in legal proceeding without going back to the court and getting a warrant. It's taking a peak and just looking at information. It's done all the time.drcrinum said:Except that when you enter the search parameters, all sorts of links appear, and those that don't apply are 'supposed' to be deleted. somewhere back in this thread is a link to a guy who prepared a timeline (each with a media link to an article for verification). I dumped it all into an Excel spreadsheet and printed it to read. It's the only way I've been able to keep track of all the players.stetson said:
