I believe his account...it fits with everything that has been reported. He is an accidental hero in that his presence upset the apple cart and caused it to go off script.DannyDuberstein said:
What do you mean no questions? He walked through the whole scenario with a picture of the floorplan and answered questions all along the way. It actually made a lot of sense to me.
There are too many issues in the background though that are hanging. I could think of a lot of questions to ask. For instance: Why was he sent to check on the door? Turns out it was because it wouldn't open -- we didn't know that (lots of confusing accounts of a door alarm, and open door, etc. had been reported in the media). Somebody previously had tried to open the door and had reported it. Who? When? What time? Well, a fire door that won't open inside a building is a big deal -- major violation of the fire department codes. It's a red herring. As soon as Campos saw that the door was barred with a metal plate, alarm bells should have gone off. Do you think there were drill shavings on the floor as well? He should have called immediately while standing at the door. He is supposed to be a licensed security guard, meaning he has training/education. Was he? A security guard is supposed to be trained to recognize suspicious behavior/circumstances.
