My impression from the FBI guy is he wants us to all to just forget about it. Tells us they won't know anything for a long long time, and acts kind of arrogant, asks us to trust him.
It seems if it was so well thought out he would have had a better exit strategy like jumping out of the window with a parachute and had a helicopter swoop in and grab him.
