Man it's brutal listening to that guy. Can't imagine what he's going through but he makes it so hard to be sympathetic towards him.

I heard they are going to do a "psychological autopsy on his brain" because his "father was a diagnosed psychopath" -OAN

How does a psychological autopsy work?
Never heard of that before, and my dad is a pathologist. The subject is dead, so obviously he's beyond psychoanalysis. Physical brain abnormalities are evident when the tissue is examined, of course. I think they just mean a gross exam of the brain itself will be performed.

But this guy was loaded, he spent more on the bagel than the "thank you."

Are you guys serious? I tip well at a restaurant, but I am not giving someone 20% to a roll a cart up to my room. 14% or whatever he gave is more than most will give for room service delivery. I would imagine most would give between $5 and $10.
But in a hotel they have to bring the food farther to your room than at a restaurant. Distance = tip.
And when a generic breakfast plate costs $20-25...I assume they can give their employee a cut.

I saw something on this once, I think. it was done on TDC inmate after his execution. If this is what I think it is, they froze the brain and then sliced it like deli meat and ran in through some sort of machine to analyze it.

Probably not the same thing.

Anyone know how this guy made his "millions"??
Making a honest wage as an accountant and having a gambling addition doesn't usually translate into making and most importantly keeping millions of dollars.

I don't know why anyone is worked up over the room service bill.

Anyone ever ordered room service in Vegas (or any other place really)?

You're easily looking at 45 minutes to an hour from order time to delivery. When my buddies and I go to Vegas for the NCAA tourney every year, we'll order 3-4 drinks per person to be delivered to the room so we don't have to constantly put in orders.

Why not free drinks while gambling? Ice won't be melted that way.

If the dude was gambling as much as what was reported it's a guarantee he was getting all that comped anyway.

I guess nobody noticed the 9.90 Operational Charge

That's codespeak for built in tip anyway. Basically they charge some amount to cover for those that don't tip. Guarantee that goes to a tip share for the staff or most if not all of it anyway.

You're already tipping $10 just to get it delivered to your room.

And? Sometimes you want to make drinks and run out of mixers.

You take your free gambling drinks and head back to the room to change / clean up to go out. While there you drink the alcohol you brought with you (or bought down at Walgreens). As mentioned, sometimes you need mixers, chasers, etc.

Edit - He looks like Daniel Stern too. I just looked him up on Google images and concur.

Every time I hear about Diazepam, I think of the video game Metal Gear Solid, where you took Diazepam(Valium) prior to using the sniper rifle, to give yourself a steady hand.

I doubt that's why the shooter was taking it, but that's always my first reaction when its referred to as Diazepam and not Valium.

Me too. It does show reservation for 2 guests. That doesn't prove there were 2 people checked in but surely Casino cameras capable of detecting micro-gestures of gamblers can show any and all interactions this guy had while on premises.
This in spades! My wife and I are frequent travelers to Vegas and we have rewards memberships at several hotels. Just 4 months ago my wife went to Vegas alone for a meeting and used my rewards card at check-in at the hotel she wanted to stay. Sure enough our bill said 2 guests, even though there was only one. The same is true for the room service tickets. The receptionist assumed it was 2 guests. Using another person's card is to bump up points.

When this story broke they said that the shooter used his GF's platinum card. Hence the two guests. Tony the room service guy at Mandalay Bay didn't count the number of people in that room. Evidently he checked in on the 25th with her card comped. It is likely he had to use his card on the 28th for the expansion of the suite. The GF's card probably didn't have enough points for the expansion, so it shows him checking in on the 28th.

Loomer is tweeting about something she has no clue about.

Now that we know he was using psychotropic drugs things start to make a little more sense.

Edit again to add: Now that we know he was interest in another outdoor even 5 months ago but could get a room adjacent makes it more clear his intentions.
