Yes our country is run by clowns-no argument from me. But that doesn't mean we should participate by making the same clownish arguments as long as it's in favor of the red or blue team.
Ummm, I was talking about radicalization of the right. You're the one that made the clownish comment about Trump. I never mentioned Trump and only mentioned Biden related to his hostile comments about other Americans.

In my opinion Biden is the worst president at least in modern times. That's a statement of opinion, one held by a lot of Democrats as well as Republicans. I gave some quick examples of why I hold that opinion and why four more years is a risky proposition given the decline in the last three. You attacked me on my opinion and didn't address any of the facts supporting it. But I'm the crazy one. 10-4 little buddy. Have a nice weekend.
I made no clownish comment and there is nothing I wrote that is factually incorrect that I can't defend.

You wrote that biden is the worst president in American history. A desperately ignorant take, and the one I responded to. Your reasons aren't particularly sound but hardly worth addressing in light of the absurdity of the statement. You are backtracking now to the last century, but I think that more or less proves how dumb the original take was.

I believe he has excommunicated himself from the Church with his material involvement in and promotion of one of the Catholic non-negotiable evils.

His bishop, Cardinal Wilton Gregory went as far as I've ever seen him in an interview this weekend and say he was a Cafeteria Catholic, pick and choosing what to follow and what to ignore. That was a big step, as Cdl Gregory is very reticent to speak out
I see by your own hand that the commandment against bearing false witness means nothing to you. It should. Biden hasn't been excommunicated, but must have been thrilling to type such a lie.

He didnt say biden was excommunicated. He said he had excommunicated himself.

It's pretty tough to buy republicans as the party of individual responsibility and common sense when the Republican Party is a lock step Donald Trump personality cult.

The left is 100% responsible for Trump. Democrats propped him up because they thought it would be an easy win for Clinton. She called half the voting base deplorables and we got Trump. You've doubled and tripled down since. I'm not a fan but he says what the base wants to hear and generally did what he said he would do. Lawfare from the left confirms the Right's fears and suspicions and makes Trump a martyr. I wanted Desantis personally. But when people see how the uniparty is so against him and have used the courts and media to harass him and FBI and DOJ for a soft coup attempt it makes people think that maybe he's just what we need. Without any of that he probably wouldn't have won in 2016 and wouldn't even be in the conversation now. TDS like yours has helped Trump enormously.

That's not how responsibility works. You'd think the party of individual responsibility would understand where accountability lies at the ballot box.

You vote for him, goaltend for him, make excuses and and ignore your supposed values. No one made you do that. The democrats didn't hold your dick when you pissed on your own party. Calling completely founded criticism of Trump "TDS" proves the point.

Of course Donald Trump produced extreme reactions from democrats. Donald Trump is an extreme overreaction from the republicans that the party is all in on.

The idea that desantis lost because of law suits against Trump is laughable. Just no accountability on your part whatsoever.

Trump is to the left of Bill Clinton and has a lot more overlap with Barack Obama than does George Bush. I don't know what he does that people think is so conservative, and he can only be thought conservative in opposition to the Democrats who have gone so completely bat**** crazy it's not sane to use them to calibrate

I am a conservative Christian but understand about free speech, etc.

I have 2 questions.
Why did Biden have to bring attention to this one day (when there a million other days similar to this) and on Easter?

And how can you be a Catholic if you repeatedly break basic tenets of the Catholic Church?
I am not Catholic but do not see how one can call themself a Catholic when you do the things Biden has done. Can he claim Christianity? Sure
But I do not see how he can claim to be a Catholic.
Just be honest.

Doc- you have been shown mostly one side of many that is our Catholic faith. So your confusion is understandable, however, inaccurate. The RCC has a number of long held understandings about the personal freedoms an individual has a right to make regarding moral decisions. Not all are in the same state of spiritual development. On top of all that is the understanding of remote material cooperation (not always sinful) versus immediate material cooperation (which is always sinful).

Imagine working for a gun manufacturer (remote material cooperation) versus buying a gun for your known, mentally unstable teenager who uses that weapon to commit mass murder of children.

So- not as black and white as some would like all to believe.

He's objectively not anywhere close to the worst and just how much do you think the President has to do with your personal situation?

I might add that corporate profits are at an all time high and the stock market has been doing well. Maybe, just maybe, corporate profiteering has a bit more to do with inflation than anything the POTUS does. And, our inflation, BTW, has been lower than many other countries.

My friend, I say this with love and not as pejorative. You are one of the least intelligent posters I have ever interacted with on this website. It is such a beating interacting with you because rather than Sapper, who probably has a 105 IQ, and Aggrad who might be pushing 120, we get discourse somewhere along the level of a 15 year old girl or a 78 year old spinster. I have yet to hear you ever utter an actual argument or rebuttal.

You're mistaking latae sententiae and ferendae sententiae. No formal decision is necessary, it is incurred immediately. I even explained my reasoning, Biden has willfully and materially cooperated in the celebration of and continuance of abortion. As such I believe he has excommunicated himself.
