They all call him "The Man in White."

I have numerous stories of this happening all over the world in different cultures, etc. even in pagan cultures who have never heard of Christianity. He always appears in white just like this.

Check the comments. Story after story of similar things. I have had Hindu friends say similar things to me.

You are being called to be a warrior for Christ, are you listening to Him?

During the Syrian refugee crisis I had a friend of a friend who was working as a missionary in a refugee camp over there. This was a common story where muslim refugees would come up to them (the missionaries) on a regular basis claiming they dreamed of Jesus in his white robes asking them to follow Jesus.

as someone who's known a lot of muslims this number current stands at 0% of that group.

Interesting that if 50% of muslims have this dream that islam is growing faster than christianity.

Also worth noting that Muslims do honor Jesus as a prophet. It's not like he's a random, unknown figure within Islam.

I think they also believe in the virgin birth, but I might be mistaken.

Yes. Certain schools of thought also have classically advanced a dyophysite-adjacent Christological position, especially Imami Shi'ism in correlation with the doctrine of Imamate.

I believe Islam to be a form of Nestorian Christianity that got garbled in a game of "telephone". Too many of the players are the same, and too much of the christology and Mariology overlaps.

He appears to people of other religions as well. I had some formerly Hindu friends that had dreams about Jesus too.

He appears to Muslims so often because of their apostate laws and directives wherein you can be killed if you leave. It's been said for a long time that miracles always appear where they are needed most and it's very clear they are needed more in the Islamic world than anywhere else.

That's not what that means. It means that God is working constantly with Muslims, not that they are growing faster. This has been the norm for a long long time within Islam. These stories go back centuries.

If you watch the video, its not 50% of the billion plus muslims in this world. Its 50% of the muslim converts in his parish. He has a great story about a whole mosque of men all privately sharing with one another that they had seen Jesus in their dreams in the night before.

There is a calling, its not one out of every two, but Jesus is there. He's not going to let man and satan's attempts to bar Christ from whole countries of people get in His way.

In the Quaran is it acceptable to lie during jihad? And when is a Muslim not in Jihad?
Well the guy telling the story said that all the men left the mosque and joined a local church.

I don't think lying about seeing Isa fits under the 'lie to your enemies' you're referencing.

Watch the video, its like 8 minutes long.

I'll jump in, since this is an area I have quite a bit of experience in.

I run a ministry that works in areas where Islam is the majority religion. The statistics on this do vary based on what part of the world you're in, but yes, dreams and visions are generally the second most common reason Muslims decide to follow Jesus. I've talked with Muslims who've had these dreams, and I have no doubt they are legitimate.

Oh, and most common reason Muslims decide to follow Jesus? The love of a Christian friend.

While your observations are true, Islam is quote the opposite of a form of Christianity. I did a deep dive into Surah Al-Baqarah this summer. 286 verses.

The writer used the Bible as a source document.
  • You will find many Biblical characters in this chapter along with quotes of certain passages often misquoted.
  • Joseph Smith did the same thing with the Book of Morm.
  • They used the Bible as a source document to create their own religions
  • They quote the facts wrong.

one Example:
And remember when you said, "O Moses! We cannot endure the same meal every day. So just call upon your Lord on our behalf, He will bring forth for us some of what the earth produces of herbs, cucumbers, garlic, lentils, and onions." Moses scolded them, "Do you exchange what is better for what is worse? You can go down to any village and you will find what you have asked for." They were stricken with disgrace and misery, and they invited the displeasure of Allah for rejecting Allah's signs and unjustly killing the prophets. This is a fair reward for their disobedience and violations. Surah 2:61

Read all of Numbers 11 - more than what's below...

1 Now the people became like those who complain of adversity in the hearing of the Lord; and when the Lord heard it, His anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. 2 The people therefore cried out to Moses, and Moses prayed to the Lord and the fire died out. 3 So the name of that place was called Taberah, because the fire of the Lord burned among them.

4 The rabble who were among them had greedy desires; and also the sons of Israel wept again and said, "Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we used to eat free in Egypt, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic, 6 but now our appetite is gone. There is nothing at all to look at except this manna."

The unjustly killing the prophets phrase is not used in the Bible for 800 years after Moses lived. Moses lived around 1525BC to 1406BC, 874 BC Wife of Ahab killed the prophets.

2nd example:
And remember when Moses prayed for water for his people, We said, "Strike the rock with your staff." Then twelve springs gushed out, and each tribe knew its drinking place. We then said, "Eat and drink of Allah's provisions, and do not go about spreading corruption in the land." Surah 2:60

Why wasn't Moses permitted into the promise land?

Numbers 20:8 "Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it may yield its water. You shall thus bring forth water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their beasts drink." 9 So Moses took the rod from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him; 10 and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, "Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?" 11 Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation and their beasts drank. 12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you have not believed Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them." 13 Those were the waters of Meribah, because the sons of Israel contended with the Lord, and He proved Himself holy among them.

Last post was off topic. God often reveals himself in ways prior to interaction with missionaries. This one book has one such reference.

As a follow up to my previous post on this board, I want to thank the OP for providing enough context and sales pitch to the video, that someone might want to watch an 8 minute video.

It probably took him 30 seconds to write and yet see how much more response it garnered? And not one person yelled at him for not actually summarizing, because he gave enough information.

Good video thread team!

Can you explain what "the love of a Christian friend" would look like? There seems to be many Christians who have different interpretations of what that means.
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

Genuineness, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, generosity... the things most of us would consider loving.

The Islamic idea of God doesn't really embody these character traits. For Muslims, God isn't their "Father". Compared to the biblical picture of God, he's distant and in many ways uncaring.

So when they experience these things through Christians, it gives them a sense of who the God we follow really is.
