Every judge is granted authority by a higher power. If you're making judgements where do you get the authority to do so? Instead of getting defensive answer the question.

Who gets to define who is a heretic?
I stick with the original scriptures. Does that make me a heretic?
If you're going to make Biblical claims then you should provide the scripture that supports it. Of course, I momentarily forgot that, as a Catholic, you don't need God's word.jrico2727 said:You should know both the old and new testament as the Bibilical scholar you present yourself to beM1Buckeye said:jrico2727 said:Jesus is a Davidic King. Why do you ignore Paul's directive?
Galatians 1:8-9 esv
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
So I'm wrong to challenge the doctrines of praying to and "venerating" Mary? Aren't these the types of false doctrines that Paul was speaking of?
Please show me in the Bible.

Claims to have been Catholic for 50 years, yet no concept of intercession.
Troll it is.
Whatever answer I give you, you will attack me.jrico2727 said:

Buckeye thinks church history started in 1513 with some paper, a nail, and some very misbehaving italians.M1Buckeye said:Zobel said:

Shouldn't you be busy worshipping the Pope?

Buckeye, the 1500s is basically the opening scenes for the third act of the church. You've missed a lot of the play here, and don't recognize half of the cast of characters.
At least learn a bit about the schism of 1054.
There was a united church once. Can you trace that church from Jesus's time, outline what they believed, how they walked through the counsels, and the heresies they addressed along the way up until the schism of 1054?
