For those who have paid account here, do you think it's worth it? Also, if you block/ignore someone, and they respond to you, do you see any indication they responded? Or does it appear that no post was even made on your end?

Yes, I'm aware. It's not just about the ability to block. I am wondering about primarily if they find membership to be worth it. Ability to DM, etc. Does it make the experience here, as a whole, better.
I pay primarily for the sports content and the fact that I am friends with quite a few posters in real life so the DM comes in handy.PacifistAg said:

Another advantage of paying is the system tracks if new posts have been added to a thread since you last opened it. If you re-open that thread, it takes you automatically to the first new post. Once you get used to that feature, it's difficult to live without it.
I personally like the dichotomy premium provides. You and I are diametrically opposed politically, but I star every one of your premium posts. In a world comprised only of Aggie athletics, you and I are besties...Sapper Redux said:PacifistAg said:

It depends on what you're looking for. Billy, Jason, and Brauninger are excellent recruiting analysts and there are some good football discussions on the Premium forum. Billy is very cautious with how he releases information, so Premium often has early hints but not early information on a lot of things (and I'm not complaining, I think that's absolutely the right way to go).
I think I've only ever put one poster on ignore and it was for the repetitive and unproductive way they post. When they post I see their username and then it skips to the next poster. If I want to see what they wrote I can click on their user name. They've not responded to me, so I have no idea what happens if they do.
The ability to track replies in threads is useful, but I feel like premium is more about supporting the product than the bells and whistles that come with the stars.
If you are a recruiting junkie, it is an absolute golden time to be on premium. This past class alone was worth a decade of subscription...PacifistAg said:
Thanks everyone! That's very helpful. I'm starting to think it'll make my time here more enjoyable, and since I LOVE following Aggie recruiting, I think that will be a big perk as well.
Same here. I think there's only 1 person who I have on ignore whose username hasn't been outright banned anyway.Quote:

You still see the line with their username, but it's highlighted in blue.Quote:

I dont ignore anyone using the ignore feature, because I have no self control and would just click the reveal button anyway.
but dms are occasionally useful and I like the emojis. The watch list would be hard to live without at this point because I've gotten so used to it.

What are the most current Barnes' socks?
Some people say clob94 is, but others claim that they know that poster personally and can verify that he's not. Of course, it suddenly occurs to me that those other posters may also be barnes' socks, ha ha.
How does one determine a new barnes' sock?

Nice try, Barnes.
