I have to admit that I have been pulled all kinds of crazy in the past 3 weeks. Today, at lunch I lost it for the first time with my kids. One of them didn't like the brand of hotdogs I had made for him and I opened the back door and threw it out in anger and said "maybe the dogs will eat it then".

To get upset by either me or my kids over a brand of hotdogs is ridiculous. It's a crazy time for all of us, but I am thankful for the gift that was given to us. Neither sin, nor death, nor sickness...

It sucks though. Sin in this world is a *****.

Glad someone paid it forward for me.

I have found that chicken nuggets travel much farther across the yard than hotdogs.

You're in good company here. Apologize, repent, and give some guys in your church a call just to chat.

I know we men are unfairly looked at to be these stable rocks for our families, but as you mentioned, our rock is Christ and we were given each other for support.

I'm sending my guys in the small group I lead messages every other day just to keep everyone sane.

Great advice. Our Bible study group stays in pretty much daily contact. And one of my bud's wife has helped me a lot on my office stuff for free.

And op, do not beat yourself up. We all fall short which is why we need a Savior. And what a magnificent one we have. Jesus is His name.

I just finished Kyle Idleman's "Grace is Greater". Good read.

I have a few holes to patch myself.

Be thankful if your kids are small enough to throw across the lawn. My 44 year old "failure to launch" daughter deserved it this morning but I'm physically incapable of accommodating her. It's for the better though, I'd miss her the next time one of our many electronic gizmos went on the fritz.

I always feel extra horrible after sinning when that particular sin is the one that made me/lead me to being saved and calling out to Jesus to be ruler of my life. I find it tough during this time to stay away from it.

Even though we fall short daily, it sucks extra big time to fall short in that one particular area.
