How long do you want to ignore this user?

1) As said earlier, it is not the issue of knowledge (you are hung up on this) it is the constant reminder of knowing you are being watched and know the person has power over you. It absolutely affects how we behave, conduct ourselves. Do you concede this point?

It depends booboo. You simply aren't intellectually consistent. This is the first time you worded this in a way that is true. It does affect behavior, I've already said as much. But It doesn't inhibit free will as you claim. Not one bit. Again, I don't even think you understand the terms you are using which is causing confusion. Look up free will. Influencing someone doesn't restrict free will and that's all this is, a good influence.

Free Will is not affected, you've done nothing to support that notion even though I've asked you time and again. Do you concede this point?

So now go back and read my posts. I've already addressed this. YOU believe this, you are influenced exactly as you are describing and then even more by the holy spirit according to you, so the idea that God won't do more than parlor trick miracles because it will positively affect our behavior is absurd on three counts. One he already does it to believers exactly as you described, two he does it more through the holy spirit, and three a gentle reminder to do good is in fact a good thing!

I'm not responding to the rest of your post because I'm desperately trying to get you to argue logically and follow a debate. This is my sticking point in your whole argument, the feel good stuff means little to me.
Youre a nice guy booboo but you constantly talk around me, not to me. To do that you have to listen to and understand what I'm saying.

In the Biblical story, what two humans had the most definite knowledge they were being watched by God? Adam and Eve. And they were given specific instructions on what not to do directly by God without having to fret over whether those instructions were legitimate or not. Now, according to booboo's argument, this should have stripped them of their free will. And yes they still disobeyed. Or maybe they were stripped of free will and they never had the choice not to eat the apple, of course that has some serious implications about the nature of sin.

In practice, the human mind just doesn't work the way that booboo alleges it does. People frequently take actions they know with absolute certainty will have negative long term consequences for them. I see no reason why this would be any different when God is brought into the picture.
