I have had someone come and ask me where exactly they can send a donation to help pay for the fines that were aquired by the Greys. Can someone please halp me point them in the right direction.

What were they fined for?

Not how far this will go, but my understanding is that each person who helped light the burn was violating the county burn ban. $500 per person fine.

Not sure if they will be cited, but wanted to make sure that I could help these guys out.

They were/will be fined for lighting an un-contained fire in violation of a county burn ban. The maximum fine is $500 per citation, but the hope is that the maximum fine will not be levied.

However, another thing to consider is the possibility that the fire department may also charge ASB a fee since they used the trucks to douse the stack. So they may incur further expense in addition to the above mentioned fines.

Sooooo, as we approach the "Season of Giving" and the "Day of Thanks," if you have some cash to spare, or some services that may assist them, please consider donating to ASB at this time as they can surely use it.

As of 9:20 this morning, the "Chance" Sponsorship has been fully funded through the combined efforts of E.McC., B.McG, and J.B. Thatnk you very much. We will do our best to get you framed copies of the citation as well as a personal letter of thanks from the Sponsored Greypot.

if and when I find out about my fine, I WILL PAY MY OWN FINE. out of curiosity, how long can the law wait before issuing the citation.
