Aaron is Gene Watson's son. Gene was a really good C&W singer in the '70s and '80s.

if i wanted to hear the cd version, id put in the cd. i guess thats me though. i enjoy hearing musicians show their true level of talent

I'm a big Aaron Watson fan (as well as a fan of Gene), and I've never, ever heard such a connection mentioned.

I met Aaron Watson when he played at the amphitheater in College Station this past spring. Heckuva nice guy and I've been a fan ever since.

Best guitar player in Texas: Seth James is up there in the top 5

Keep an eye on Mr Payett. His son can rip it too.

Stoney himself can hold his own.

Chris Claridy is very good.

Adam Hood is great too and has a unique sound.

Aaron Watson is not related to Gene watson. And I believe that stoney larue himself rivals many a guitar slinger.

no i'm not. i went to class with him every semester for 3 years during undergrad. Look it up. He got a BS in Nuclear Engineering then got either his MS or PhD don't remember which. I even went to his wedding 2 yrs ago. So do some research before u make urself look stupid
