show was good. obviously nothing like the days of old, but i enjoyed it. the woman had never seen them and had only heard a couple songs prior and really enjoyed it, so perhaps she's a good barometer of the show instead of an old nostalgic fan like myself.
i've been pretty vocal about my opinion of the new album. i still stand by it, but i have to say that live, the new stuff comes off much better than on the album.
still wasn't overly excited about the new versions of "You Make Me Smile" and "What if We Could," even live. i guess i will always hang on the old/5591 versions of those.
Matt told me the guys found out right before they took the stage that Foiled was certified Gold.
apparently "Foiled" is the #8 album on the billboard rock charts, and is #29 on the billboard top 200. not too shabby.
