Saw it last night....i really liked it. It was about quadriplegic rugby (those guys are hardcore). Good game sequences with some sad/depressing parts. It seemed to give good insight on the day-to-day struggles of a quadriplegic person.

paraplegic, quadraplegics can't use their arms, much less play wheelchair rugby

even their website talks about them being quadrapalegic...I didn't understand how that would be possible. sure, it would be funny, but wouldn't make for good sport.

In the movie they said being quadriplegic doesnt necessarily mean they are totally paralized in their arms and legs. Many of them can move their arms but have lost some function within the arms (i.e. loss of tricep function) or within the hands (i.e. cannot grip). There are varying degrees of paralysis. The athletes in the movie said it was a very, very common misconception that being quadriplegic meant total loss of any movement or feeling. This may be the case in some people but not in all. You really need to see the movie, they explain it real well. Great movie.

I'm definitely going to check this movie out. Real Sports on HBO had a segment about the main character.

Grow some thicker skin people, that was hilarious.

The main guy was hammered at a party. He climbs into the bed of his buddies pickup, and passes out. His buddy is driving home, and losses control of the car, in the middle of nowhere, and goes off the side of the road. The buddy has no damage to his truck, drives home. Doesn't know the main guy was in the bed, and the main guy flies out the back, and lands in a creek. Can't walk out of the creek, and stays there til 4pm the next day.

How'd you like to know that you did that to your best friend??
