It's a pretty good song that nobody knows about. He has a lot of great songs that never got radio play.

A Lonesome Dove is a sad thing! In 3 weeks, I am hoping to shoot down several!

Isn't it more accurate to say Garth Brooks ruined alot of really good songs?

lets be honest, he had a good run. pretty much every CD of his is good through fresh horses. kinda went downhill after that. i do think that lonesome dove is probably the best song off of ropin the wind

Garth was pretty funny when he hosted SNL a few years back. The Mango skit was a riot.

I liked Fresh Horses, Sevens and Scarecrow. They weren't as well known as his others, but they had good songs on there. If Fresh Horses would have gotten the media bitz that the others did, it would have been a lot better than people make it out to be. There are a lot of great songs on there.
