I remember reading about this when that episode aired - but this talks about how they did the Dolly guest appearance on the Orville during COVID by having a set split in half and shipped to her to film remotely:

I'm taking credit for this I just made it up - and for the record I love Dolly Parton.

My best Johnny Carson-esque monologue joke which feels appropriate.

So the governor and others say they will rename Nashvilles airport for Dolly Parton. A very classy move. Apparently they will also propose the 3 letter code be changed from BNA to DDD in her honor.

Love you Dolly!!!

And I think the renaming of the airport is a great idea. Icon.

To be honest, I was expecting "Roseanne Barr singing the National Anthem" type of cringe but it wasn't actually that bad considering it's Vin Fking Diesel.

William Beckmann did a fantastic cover of "I Will Always Love You" Saturday night at Floore's in Helotes. The only recording I can find of it is on the William Beckmann Fans group on Facebook.
