My takeaway was that the journo went to the library, or wherever they were supposed to go. The brother decided to try confront the killers. The scene where they had him ready to jump in the river after them was silly

I'm just now starting this season. Did anybody else notice that the pretty Asian woman's bruises on her arms from leukemia disappeared when she came out of the shower with a towel on?

I definitely like the first season the best. Didn't like 2 or 3 very much. This season is ok, but I dislike how they are dumbing Reacher down. The whole point to me, which season 1 and the first Cruise movie did well at was showing how smart he is. He get underestimated because he is huge and expected to be dumb.

I read a decent amount of the series. Stopped after the one where he survived a huge explosion in a missile silo in some vaguely described way. Seemed a little to jump in the shark to me and took a break that hasn't ended.

I noticed it. I think later in the show they said she had faked the bruises to make Reacher think she had some condition, which was part of her initial ruse for trying to find her father (the guy running for president) for medical history.

She is such an unlikeable and uninteresting character. Really didn't enjoy when she was in a scene... cannot imagine a full season focused on her.

Reacher got whipped up on more this season than all the other seasons combined. Guess he's getting older. Still comes out on top in the end. I liked this season.
The small town cop was annoying. The two Asian ladies were mean as ****, but also sexy hot.

I had the same thought, age was never addressed but I caught myself getting mad at the character for taking the beatings from some of the opponents. Nail gun palm strike makes up for all of it.
