Just finished watching A Few Good Men to introduce my son to the "You can't handle the truth!", scene and it got me thinking how I've actually forgotten that Cruise built up his career primarily in non-action roles and how much I miss watching him in roles like this movie, and Jerry Maquire, and The Firm, and so many others.
He was so good in those non-action roles, and its obviously that same charisma that made him so good as Ethan Hunt. But I actually think he's kind of wasted doing the hanging-from-a-plane stunt scenes nowadays. Now that the MI movies are done, I really want to start seeing him back in those non-action roles more.
