Haven't posted since I finished the season. Overall, I'd give it a solid 8/10. Very good and entertaining show. I love that they went all in on this character with Cage. Just an absolute blast.

I don't know if this is true, but I just saw a YouTube video that said the reason the changed his name to Ben Reiley, for the show, is because there are certain rules about portraying the character "Peter Parker". Some of those being he can't abuse drugs or alcohol, and he can't kill anyone. Gonna have to research that.

Also, I completely missed the fact that our femme fatale was this universe's Black Cat. That went right over my head.

I still hold that black and white is the only way to watch this show. The way they shot it and the great allusions to old noir films was just so fun to see on the screen. Looking forward to more Spider-Noir in the next Spiderverse movie and hopefully another season of Spider-Noir.

Supposedly The Spider from all the comic books and other iterations of this specific character are called Ben Reilly…I'm not a comic book guy at all so take what I saw with a grain of salt here because I just get it from others…

In Into the Spiderverse, he introduces himself as Peter Parker. I think Ben Reilly is the name of the Scarlet Spider.

They also adjusted the timeline. The Spiderverse version is from the 40's, because he fights Nazis.

What a fun ride! Hope they keep it going.

Finished this week as well. The last three episodes were great.

Love how the season ended with Reilly & Ruiz on the door.

Here's hoping for a season 2.

Canceled! WTF is Amazon doing?!?

Yeah this news sucks. My friend on the show and I were literally just texting about this.

The weird thing is Amazon has no problem dumping millions into its LOTR series, and this show, which costs pennies in comparison, has had considerably better critic reception, yet they cancel it after one season.

Just a bummer all around.

Amazon screwed this show from the start, by dumping it all at once instead of rekeasing it weekly and letting word of mouth (which was very good) build up week to week.

And it is absolutely a farce that Rings of Power, an absolute joke of a show continues. But I'm not surprised. Amazon dumped too much money into it to afford to admit defeat and cancel it.

This show ****s all over Rings of Power. I guess it's just too niche.

At least we got a full story in this single season.
