I was at Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio a few years back when GOT was ending and sat in the Jason Mamoa panel. Someone in the audience asked him if he would consider doing a remake of the Schwarzenegger/Devito film "Twins" with Peter Dinklage. Mamoa got super excited and said "F Yeah, sign me up!"

This should not be a long shot (some of the above are not), but a World War Z anthology series based on the book needs to get made.
Probably a long shot because it's not top of mind anymore in sci-fi circles and none of his stuff has ever been put to film (that I'm aware), but I would kill to get a movie series based on Peter F Hamilton's Nights Dawn trilogy.

If someone can pull off Devil in the White City well, I'm all in. At this point it seems like a doomed project tho
I wish we had a talented director putting out 1-2 films a year, like Steven Soderbergh. Give me a yearly Fincher, Chazelle, Anderson, Mangold, etc films per year. That will be great.

I wish all movies were made with the same level of state of the art special effects. It seems like for as many advancements that are made in the realm of special effects we still get very bad effects in a large majority of films - even the so called "blockbusters".
I really wanted to see the Tremors series that was teased a few years ago with Kevin Bacon returning to Perfection Valley as Val - but got canceled after they filmed the pilot.
