I'll start

The Office. I'm listening to The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s and it's so addicting.

The writers were obsessed with The Wire at the time and that's how we got Amy Ryan and Edris Elba…amongst others. (Holly Flax and Charles Miner)

"Too much" is such a repentant way to characterize it.

But for me the answer is the Top Gear/Grand Tour trio. I've always got it on in the background.

I've watched the specials so many times that when I hear the US national anthem, I think of Vietnam.

Just out of curiosity, what service do you watch "real" top gear on?

I ended up buying the digital catalog on Prime. It seems like it was on & off of Prime & Prime Freevee unpredictably and they were selling them for like $3-7 a season, so I just bit the bullet. Worth it.

I cycle between The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99 and Community. Easy feel good shows I can just pop on anytime instead of trying to find something new to watch, or if I just want something on in the background.

Law and Order. I watch from beginning of series until all of the hot Asst DAs are gone around season 13 or so and then I cycle back to the beginning again.

Bob's Burgers. Lighthearted and pretty consistent throughout its run.

Big Michael Schur guy I see. Him and Greg Daniel's are absolute goats in the industry.

That's my usual rotation too

I use to watch it regularly with my dad as a kid.

I wonder if I would like it even more now

Do you mean "watch a lot"? There is no "too much".

Friends
Scrubs
That 70's Show
How I Met Your Mother

I've watch through each of those at least 3 times, but mixed through each many times. If it's late and I just want to throw something on, I'll randomize an episode of Friends.

Haha yes "watch a lot"

How I met your mother was amazing. Do you pick up on new things when you rewatch it or more of a background show?

Mad Men - I bought the complete series in the Apple Store for $20.00 back in December of '23 and I've been through it twice now.

It has been fun rewatching old sitcoms with my sons lately. We finished ELR and we are now going through King of Queens. I think we are going to go to Lost next. We are also watching Daredevil right now...only on S1E4.

Movies..."Too much," is the key phrase. Is there a point where you reach, "too much," when rewatching LOTR? I don't think so, but if there is a line in the sand, I crossed it a long time ago!

One movie that I would stop and watch again, if I were to stumble upon it while surfing, would be, "A Walk to Remember." I, with a high level of embarrassment, love that movie!

Been through the Office, Seinfeld, Modern Family several times. Dramatice series - Breaking Bad 3 or 4 times at least.

Recently started re-watching Veep. Forgot how much I liked that show. Laugh-out-loud funny.

Like most here, The Office, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, and Seinfeld.

However, i did just finish watching "The Middle" all the way through (since I never watched consistently when it was on network TV) and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it so it'll probably be added to the rotation.

Forensic Files plays every night while my wife and I go to sleep. Last one to sleep turns off the TV.

Seinfeld
Early in the summer when there's not much else on, Friday Night Lights. Sometimes I finish a couple of episodes. Sometimes I'll watch an entire season. I think I've been through all seasons 2-3 times.
When NYPD Blue was on Amazon Prime, I watched the hell out of that.
The Office.

Where does this one stream? What a great show that was and I had totally forgotten about it. And a stellar cast. Sadly, short-lived.

Probably no such thing as "too much" but Seinfeld, M*A*S*H, and mini-series like The Pacific and Band of Brothers for me.

There's always something comforting in the way 90's sitcoms were shot. For example, the first half of Friends just always has a more "homey" feel to me, versus the back half. Something about the color grading or something.
