From the studio perspective, had to be absolutely dirt cheap to make and will make a gigantic profit.

That stuff turns me off movies that do that. Sounds immature. When movies do this, it sounds like a 15-year old was hired to spice up the script.

I hadn't read the book and honestly thought he was super robotic, like the twist was he would be a robot when they try to kill him. It was overdone even by his standards

Haven't seen the movie, but in the book the competitors are 13-18 years old so sounds like the script was accurate.

It's currently the least successful king adaptation and is losing a ton of money. Might have something to do with king spouting off last week,might not. But it is not doing well at the box office

It hasn't even been in theaters for a full week yet and has made $14M worldwide on a $20M budget. Not to mention it currently has an 89% RT score, along with great word-of-mouth, and based on those good graces will continue making money theatrically all month, into October, and of course then on digital, cable, etc. In no world is it "losing a ton of money" and will absolutely, in fact, be profitable when all is said and done. Where are you even getting this?
