We liked it. Definitely some intense scenes, but there were also some eye rolling parts of the script. Nothing that ruined it though.

totally agree

the story line with the black couple I literally fast forwarded through as it was as lame as lame can be and added NOTHING to the story line

Lou Anne was fantastic.

some very good older actors.

Linda Lavin just passed away in the last day and that was her last role in this series!

she was fantastic and looked good.

Was a fun little binge for the holidays. Really great acting by some "old" folks...

With a cast of so many comedians, I expected a funny show. It took me a couple of episodes to realize it's not really funny. After I realized that, I enjoyed it more. The ending, though, was bad and made no sense.

I don't understand why they had to make it look like someone else broke in. The daughter would have never been convicted. It was clearly self defense. Also, she was in front of the brother when she shot him. The other shooter was behind him, so would have shot him in the back. Anyone would have noticed two bullet holes. Also one of the casings would have been found outside, but the girl was inside. It should have been very obvious there was another shooter.

I mean it is a female Hollywood screen writer...

They (Romano and Kudrow) didn't know there was a 2nd shooter. They thought the daughter was the only shooter.

The part that I didn't get was what was the basis for arresting Margo 6 months later? Did the DA somehow find proof that she did it?

Right, but that's my point. They should have known. I didn't remember which person found the casing outside, but that person would know that a shot was fired from outside, and the girl was inside. Also, the son was shot in the back. The daughter clearly shot the son from the front. That will also tell you there's a second shooter.

Even if you ignore all that, though, there's still no reason to hide anything. The son was wearing a mask and broke a window to get in. Anyone would assume that it was a break in, and she was just defending herself.

Another more minor issue I had is that the mother didn't know the caliber of the gun, but she is the one who bought the gun. How did she not know what kind of gun she bought?
