I was rooting for the two younger girls, and of course they're the first to drop. Pretty much went in order of who I wanted to go from there. The little chola that doesn't open her mouth to talk couldn't have gone down in a better fashion. I would have taken the mil just like the other guy did, and absolutely loved the girl getting bullied and waxed in the end. Her shtick got old quick.

LOL, agreed.

I was a tad disappointed in the finale. It felt very underwhelming compared to the rest of the season. 380 was a fraud from start to finish. Hopefully, 381 can help his sick kid.

Why is everyone mixing up the numbers?

It was 830 and 831. Not 380 and 381

Watched all of it with my son over the last couple weeks. Pretty interesting combo of Big Brother and Squid Games. There's a lot of mental stuff I was surprised to see instead of just games. Everyone of them that turned down $1 million guaranteed is an idiot and surely regrets it.

It's cool to hear about people that went through the process to be on the show and about the lawsuits. There's a lot on reddit.

Lawsuits? For what? Figured you kind of sign your life away when you agree to be on there

A group of anonymous contestants claim injuries, poor treatment, and harassment. I did notice a bunch his entourage guest hosts hugging the women alot. But yeah their contract terms according to reddit are pretty stiff, evening requiring significant payment back to Beast Games for disclosures.

I'm excited for season 2.

Lawsuits are so predictable. Jimmy has tons of money and all these desperate people will exaggerate anything to play the victim and try to get some cash. Makes sense from all the mentally weak people we saw on the show.

But he chose these contestants for a reason.

Per Wikipedia:

the contestants allege that they did not get paid adequately for their work, oftentimes not getting paid at all. Contestants have also said they have not yet received promised prizes and compensation money. Contestants further said that they did not receive adequate amounts of food or medical care throughout the course of the show, despite many participants becoming injured.Contestants also stated that they had their phones and other personal belongings taken away from them prior to arriving to the stadium to film.
The complaint also alleged that contestants were made to provide false information and were misclassified as volunteers rather than employees to allow the production to obtain Nevada tax credits and avoid other taxes. In addition, the plaintiffs alleged that they were told that the competition would involve 1,000 participants, which was later revealed to them to mean 1,000 on the televised show out of an initial 2,000 participants.

As a result of the conditions they faced, contestants alleged that the conduct of the production companies and staff caused them "serious emotional distress"

Underwhelmed by the final. Too long and drawn out, we didn't need any real memory lane moments. Final game was underwhelming too. But I did who won it. Best option out of the final group IMO.

IMO, the most genuine and straightforward guy one.

I watched this show over the weekend with the family because the weather was so bad we were just stuck inside. It was way more fun than I expected. Lots of surprises, lots of people crying because they lost a gameshow. People selling out entire rows for money. People volunteering to sacrifice themselves for people they don't know, which I didn't really understand. Lots of unique games but some went way too long. After that very first game when people sold out their row for as low as $20k I was surprised none of the team leaders took the $1MM payout. You can take $1MM guaranteed or a chance at $5MM, the math is simple on that one. I didn't get why the guys in that challenge with the houses took what they did, either take an equal share or take all of it. If you're going to upset everyone after you, take the rest and go home.

I like that guy that won it, but $10MM doesn't go far when it comes to medical research, though I wish him well. Having a kid with an incurable condition is something I just can't imagine so I am glad to see it. Though the other contestant at the end had plans for helping homeless kids so they each had honorable uses for the money. I was surprised they didn't just agree to split it. If I was in the final 3 I would have taken the $1MM buyout as well so good for him.

With as expensive as this show was I don't know that we'll get a season 2 but I will watch if they do it. As far as the lawsuits go I'm guessing they had to sign a pretty close to iron-clad contract to get to participate, that will be difficult for them to fight.

The guy that won seemed to want to help everyone. Kind of crazy. He told the lady she was on the same square, and was pretty honest that he didn't think it was him that was the least popular. Maybe they edited it that way but he seemed like a pretty straight forward guy. The final game did suck and didn't seem like there was much strategy, but he figured it out some how. I'd like to see and interview with him on exactly how he knew which one it was.

At what point in time is the game just a math problem? You start with a.1% chance of winning. .001*$5000000= $5k. If he offers you $10k you take it. Or 25 people left,.04*5MM = $200k. Take bribes above that.

If there is a Beast Games 2, suspect they'll have to make some changes because I'd imagine second time through people will definitely be taking the $1M bribes as soon as they come.

Looking back I think she fckd up.

I think it would've been a better play for her to have acted like she was playing straight up and honest and told him the check was in the wrong case. Basically goad him into picking the wrong case.

Instead she played hardball and he was able to read her and figure it out.

I would have turned the other way and left it up to him to guess which one it is. 10 million dollars on the line and I would have probably given some tell if he touched the case with the check.

I wouldn't have even opened a case before letting him choose. I would have just mixed them all up. Since I have no idea where the money is, they can't read me. There is no advantage to her knowing where the money is. Make it totally random, and then you do your attempt to read the opponent when it's your turn to pick.

Yeah that's a good strategy but I'm pretty sure they showed her the check in the briefcase and where it was.

I don't think not looking was a choice.

Since they sunk the money into building the little city, I am guessing season two is imminent.
