She's always had that kinda creepy Grace Jones look to me if Grace Jones constantly looked 12 years old. Never fully understood the attraction.

That being said, I'm pushing 40, and kids in college look like babies to me now.

This will be amazing to see. I cannot wait. It will either be awfully epic, or epically awful. Given that it is Nolan, I am expecting epic!!

Also, I always find it interesting that we get an announcement like this just a month or two after a different version of the same story was released. Poor Ralph Fiennes

Because Nolan movies advertise like clockwork at this point, I just realized that the first teaser for this will drop with either Jurassic World: Rebirth, Superman, or The Fantastic Four in July (my bet is on JP:R since they're both Universal movies) and that the teaser trailer + some kind of IMAX prologue/sequence will drop with Avatar: Fire and Ash in December.

If The Band of Heathen's "Odysseus" song isn't in the opening or closing credits, we riot.

Thank you for keeping us informed with Nolan news.

Very happy he's ignoring online haters and properly embracing Diversity guidelines, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences representation and inclusion standards for Oscars eligibility.

This is a really welcome change of pace from early films such as Memento, and from mid-career efforts such Interstellar. Would have liked to have seen John David Washington in this one as well, but there's still a lot to appreciate about this casting.

Can't wait to see which Kanye song they use for the first trailer

Reviewing the casting again, I'm really pleased at the progress both Nolan and the industry are making here. Just a decade ago…..

Think back to the live action Cinderella - another "quintessential European" tale. Branagh relegated BIPOC an advisory role, offering counsel to the prince - similar to a Hallmark movie, as a wise friend only occasionally seen. This has happened quite a bit in Hollywood.

And yet, the trend we saw from Frozen to Frozen II (significant increase) is more fully realized here. Kudos to Nolan and his team.
