Having taught in public schools, I'd say you're definitely NOT paying attention. What you don't want to hear is actually occurring inside the schools themselves...and worse, the administrations are deliberately looking the other direction while actually advising faculty to do the same. Wake up parents...sex acts are more or less prevalent and most parents don't know or seemingly, don't care.

this is just garbage writing, regardless of if you find it offensive or not.
Loved his first few movies though, still have hope he will get back to that level at some point

There is existing thread about the show itself. This thread got booted by F16.

I've only seen the first episode, but to me it has the potential to be watchable with all the standard Taylor Sheridan caveats. Namely big plots holes, stupid side stories, and as you can judge by this thread some content that may upset some. I think Billy Bob alone makes it worth watching.

All I know was that my wife coached high school volleyball for 6 years and some of the conversations those girls were having on the bus were way dirtier than this according to her. And this was a pretty nice affluent school district
