So was Andy really having a medical emergency or was that just a last ditch effort to curry sympathy from his tribe?

I'm not sure how much Lovett gave away, but I'd have sussed him out immediately.

I am familiar with Pod Save America, and his pod before that.

Don't care if you were Trump/DeSantis's speechwriter, or Hillary/Obamas, you tell me either of those things, you gotta go.

Just tell me you are a technical writer at Amazon or something, and I might deal with your schlubby ass for a week or 2 over the crazy guy.

Andy stole a page from the Rock N Roll dude from last season w/ the anxiety attacks in the middle of the night. It won't work. I hope that glasses chick doesn't blow up her game for him, she seems pretty smart.

But, everybody knows that he's a ****** and mentally weak, but he is physically stronger than the Podcast guy, so I agree w/ the result of the Tribal Council.

I don't know…Kenzie won last year almost literally because she was nice and stayed up with Ben.

Technical question: I know they film two seasons back to back in the spring, but does anyone know if this was the first or the second one filmed? (I'm just curious if Kenzie's season had aired yet before this season was filmed)

Looked like he knew they were going to lose and freaked out because he presumed he was going to get voted off.

Edits are everything, but seeing a guy start throwing a piss fit that he can't sleep outside on night 2 , waking people up, throwing a guy under the bus and falling apart like a baby at the challenge, then not even pretending to be actually injured/exhausted and STILL not getting voted off sucks.

At least more time with Gata means more Sierra.

someone likes his pork chops thick

Been watching the show for a while with my wife. Only lasted 1-2 episodes the last two seasons because it seemed to get too political/woke... seems as if that is the prevailing sentiment of what they are aiming for. Although I did hear Jeff will not be snuffing torches for anyone that quits which I like.

Just watched the season 47 premiere and it was entertaining enough for me to tune back in this week (although I miss the hour long episodes).

Yeah, that makes sense. I feel like it has been dialed back of late

Last night's episode was pretty great! So many of the guys are so cocky this season and it is making it pretty enjoyable. Love the teaser of the Sam/Sierra couple that will be explored next episode.

These challenges seem to be TOUGH this season. It's like they are combining 2-3 challenges from previous seasons into one GIANT challenge.

I don't agree w/ voting TK off at this stage of the game. Everybody knows who he was, but I'm of the mind to keep the strongest players until the merge. They should have voted out the old cat faced lady.... she was the weak link.

I like Anika, but I think her mouth and bossiness is going to get her in trouble.

I agree. You keep the strength around to keep you tribe's ass out of council. He's obviously volatile and easy to dislike which means it'd be easy to get people to vote him off later

That is a true blindside, where they didn't see it coming at all and didn't even know who was behind it. Even on a tribe of FIVE, you can be hit that hard.

I dont have the stats, but it feels like Indian women have the worst track record of any gender-race combo on the show. They can't sit back and not be a leader and it burns them repeatedly.

Couple of fun blindsides the past few weeks. Glad Andy is around for at least another episode. He's good comedic relief in what is otherwise looking to me like a pretty meh cast

First reaction - maybe the best episode of the season, and the most I can remember enjoying one in at least a couple of seasons, mostly because of the absolute shock of the Original Blue tribe to realize all of their posturing and dancing was for **** as Rachel got the Manna from Heaven from Sol and got to disappear into the night back to camp instead of being voted out.

The genuine looks of stunned silence were really something, and Probst eating it up with a spoon, with his "Tuku will be turning on each other" and coming back his big ****-eating grin and "So, now what are we going to do?"

Episode had a little bit of everything

• Andy and Genevive potentially becoming the darker half of Sam & Sierra with an alliance.
• Andy continuing to be, in Sam's immortal words, "the George Costanza of Survivor" - quickly falling out of another Immunity Challenge and also doing the most obvious advantage search in human history.
• Andy outsmarting Sol with his breakdown of why Sol voted for him and Sol throwing Sam under the bus for it.
• Me hearing Caroline speak for the first time in several episodes and realizing she's pretty smart.
• Tiyana realizing all too late that nobody really liked her much.
• Tuku realizing at some point that they did exactly what they all kept yapping about - not going back 5 strong - but feeling like a bunch of idiots for how it went down.
• I also wonder if Sam / Sierra watched this episode tonight and realized how close one of them was likely to get voted out if Yellow hadn't won the challenge. With Andy and Genvive forming their alliance, and Andy and Sol doing something similar earlier in the episode, pulling in the very malleable Teeny would have sent either Ken or Barbie packing if things had played out differently.
