some of my favorites -
4. Joe Ely - Live at Liberty Lunch. Texas rocker at the top of his game with a backing band to match.
Wild God comes out in 4 days. The 4 released songs so far are quintessential Nick and going to be a great album.Claude! said:
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Murder Ballads (though I feel like I want to take a shower after listening to it)
I didn't even know it was coming out. Thanks for the heads up!StinkyPinky said:Wild God comes out in 4 days. The 4 released songs so far are quintessential Nick and going to be a great album.Claude! said:

Give me your 10 "perfect" albums. Not to say that every song is a 10 but the album as a whole you CAN and DO listen to in its entirety and consider the album as a whole perfect. There is not one song you would remove or have to skip when playing it as an album.
Might not be your "favorite" albums either because like for me although LZ I and II and some Black Sabbath and Police albums are likely in my top 10 they do have songs I might skip or don't love.
1965 - Beatles - Rubber Soul
1969 - Blind Faith - Blind Faith
1970 - Van Morrison - Moondance
1971 - Led Zeppelin - IV
1976 - Boston - Boston
1977 - Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
1980 - AC/DC - Back in Black
1981 - Rush - Moving Pictures
1985 - Peter Gabriel - So
1991 - Pearl Jam - Ten
It was on my list. It may not be their best album, but it might be my favorite. In fact, I'm going to go listen to it now.AgBQ-00 said:
This is going to get laughed at but I LOVE Pink Floyd Division Bell
I know EXACTLY what you looked like in High School (graduated 1988?)HtownAg92 said:
Depeche Mode - Violator
Beach Boys -- Pet Sounds
Beatles - Revolver
Prince - 1999
B-52's - Cosmic Thing
ELO - Time
Indigo Girls - Self titled debut
Chuck Mangione - Feels So Good
Book of Love - Book of Love
Pet Shop Boys - Please
New Order - Substance
That's 11, so what. Could go about 10 more.

I did graduate in 1988, but I'll bet you are way off in your picture of me. Small-town West Texas athlete, so kept it high and tight, conservative clothes. The club persona only came out on weekends.maroon barchetta said:StinkyPinky said:I know EXACTLY what you looked like in High School (graduated 1988?)HtownAg92 said:

I'm picturing one of the twins in the seafood place where Brad worked in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"
Very Close! Only thing I was thinking was bleach blonde as well? But the All Black New Wave hairdo and attire nails it!maroon barchetta said:StinkyPinky said:I know EXACTLY what you looked like in High School (graduated 1988?)HtownAg92 said:
