some of my favorites -

1. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. over 60 years old and still sounds amazing. The most famous jazz album of all time.
2. Terry Callier - Time Peace. A veteran musician telling it like it is, mix of R&B with social awareness.
3. Clash - London Calling. The boys who punk can also do rock and ska.
4. Joe Ely - Live at Liberty Lunch. Texas rocker at the top of his game with a backing band to match.
5. Henry Kaiser & David Lindley - A World Out of Time. Two musicians travel to Madagascar to record some of the local musicians. Turns out the locals play some awesome stuff.
6. Pharoah Sanders - Message from Home. Not many artists experiment creativity when they're older. This jazz master had a way of weaving all types of influences into his work.
7. REM - Murmur and/or Automatic for the People. This rock band was greater than the sum of its parts. Their 2 best works here.

One Republic - Dreaming Out Loud
Jet - Get Born

I don't think there's a single song on either of those I wouldn't listen to or skip over

Wild God comes out in 4 days. The 4 released songs so far are quintessential Nick and going to be a great album.

Give me your 10 "perfect" albums. Not to say that every song is a 10 but the album as a whole you CAN and DO listen to in its entirety and consider the album as a whole perfect. There is not one song you would remove or have to skip when playing it as an album.

Might not be your "favorite" albums either because like for me although LZ I and II and some Black Sabbath and Police albums are likely in my top 10 they do have songs I might skip or don't love.

1965 - Beatles - Rubber Soul
1969 - Blind Faith - Blind Faith
1970 - Van Morrison - Moondance
1971 - Led Zeppelin - IV
1976 - Boston - Boston
1977 - Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
1980 - AC/DC - Back in Black
1981 - Rush - Moving Pictures
1985 - Peter Gabriel - So
1991 - Pearl Jam - Ten

is that it?

I have nearly a 100 albums that I will listen front to back. I actually made an excel file of this with release year and which album # it was for the artist.

Hell I almost have as many in your entire list just from one year, 2001.

A Perfect Circle Mer De Noms
Jack Johnson Brushfire Fairytales
Muse Origin of Symmetry
System of a Down Toxicity
Incubus Morning View
Tool Lateralus
Devin Townsend Terria
Opeth Blackwater Park

I have nearly 40 just from the 90s.

You do not have a soul. You are a soul that has a body.

I did graduate in 1988, but I'll bet you are way off in your picture of me. Small-town West Texas athlete, so kept it high and tight, conservative clothes. The club persona only came out on weekends.

Very Close! Only thing I was thinking was bleach blonde as well? But the All Black New Wave hairdo and attire nails it!
