I'm watching Six Feet Under for the first time and just saw the That's My Dog episode...deeply disturbing. When I researched it online I saw a lot of people say it ruined the show for them. I don't necessarily agree with that, but can certainly understand why.

Stranger Things 207 where Eleven meets the "new gang"
I guess it was in 1993, some time after Bill Clinton took office. I had been watching LA Law fairly consistently. That last time I ever watched, one of the female attorney characters came into an office saying something about with the new administration, things would be so much better. I didn't like the glee with which she said it. Turned it off and never watched it again.

100% I refuse to watch the show to this day, which is a shame because I do see shorts on Youtube that remind me at times how good that show was.
The Walking Dwad had gotten progressively worse but the last episode of whatever season it was where Rick had Negan, finally had him, after all the **** that had happened….amd Rick let him live.
I was done. I'd put up with a couple of bad seasons just to get to this point and see Rick make everything right…..and he didn't.
Haven't watched a second of that show since. Not any of the old "good" stuff and definitely nothing new after that point.

Assuming you stopped watching, you're missing out. That episode was an odd departure, but the rest of the show has been great. Four seasons, all strong.agdoc2001 said:

The wife and I enjoyed Scott Caan on Hawaii 5-0. It was a fun show. So when his new show was announced we were looking forward to it. Then we saw episode one of Alert:missing Persons Unit.

The Breaking Bad fly episode was so aggravating it took a while to go back.

The Sweeney Todd episode of the office is so terrible.
I quit watching Dexter after season 4. I really have no clue why I stopped.. I enjoyed seasons 1-4 and thought season 4 was the best, but I just stopped. My wife decided to watch it post-partum with our second and I caught snippets of season 5 and 6 and it doesn't seem I missed anything.

That's the exact same point I quit watching as well. After that season ended I just lost interest in the show. Have not watched any Walking Dead since then. And I had watched that show religiously since the very first episode. I tried Fear the Walking Dead but quit after 2 or 3 episodes. Have not watched a minute of any of the other spinoffs.

Didn't turn me off, but TWD episode when Neegan went medieval on Glenn. My brother wrote off the show after that one.

Yeah, that episode just seemed a bit gratuitous. Up until then most of the show was about how people can be messed up just from the more mundane parts of life, family, relationships. That was just some straight up trauma.
Star Trek, Strange New Worlds.
The series started off alright, not great, but was mostly watchable till that effin stupid musical episode. I got 5 minutes in before shutting it off. I haven't seen an episode since.

If you just turn it off five minutes before the end it goes from ruining the series to being a sad but great finale.
Out of all the Star Trek that has been made since the OS, Strange New Worlds is the closest to the OS. THIS episode was silly, but I appreciated that it was still in the spirit of the OS.p_bubel said:

Overall, Strange New Worlds is really good. Quality writing. Love Nurse Chapel. I can see how the musical episode might turn people off, but I'm not gonna bag on 'em too much for trying something different.

+3 Exactly when my wife and I quit watching for good. Never even gave it a second thought.
When they revealed Saul as one of the 5 final cylons. I knew it was coming and still didn't want to believe it. I finished the series but to this day will not watch it again because I firmly believe he wasn't supposed to be that from the beginning.
The first 2 seasons of it were some of the best sci-fi out there as well.
I also think Strange New Worlds is great and the musical episode is campy and fun, no different in my mind than the episode Sulu took his shirt off and Sword fought.
