Somehow Corey Feldman is opening for Limp Bizkit and I have to wonder if his show is a long con bit of satire or if he legit thinks he is a musician. He has been performing since the early 90s and has evolved from the terrible Michael Jackson impersonations to some kind of weird Marilyn Manson looking crap now but the one constant is he is absurdly awful. So bad that it has to be a bit. I mean he doesn't watch himself and think he is good, right? Are there really people that would pay to watch him sing and dance?

I think he's trying, can't fault him for that. In the music industry it can be hard to accept they are not good. To give up the dream.

I watched an interview or two around the time of that first video, and he seemed 100% sincere. He also seems pretty fractured, so who the **** knows what's going on in there.Quote:

Trying to stay as relevant as he can. He truly believes he's a good singer and performer. He's got a name that bring people to see him; much like the the circus, people want to see something strange.

He was a good child actor that grew into a creepy looking adult. He would have had to transition to the "Heavy" bad guy character in films to keep getting roles with that mug of his. I guess I shouldn't criticize how a man makes his living it just seems strange that people would pay to watch him perform unless they were just there to gawk at the train wreck. I guess what he is doing is no different than some of the old B celebrities at Comicons talking about shows they were on 40 years ago, just making a living.

He's serious. It's his art. He rationalizes it by saying its so new and innovated that pop culture has adapted yet to it. And he is dead serious.
Maybe he knows he's not good but enjoys performing, and people are dumb enough to give him gigs. So he keeps doing shows.

A friend of mine's best childhood friend was Feldman's guitarist awhile back in LA and an excellent one at that. This appears to be a totally different band, though.

The dude got famous at a time when kid actors were peak level ****ed up, and he had the King of Pop and Child Molestation all up in his business. I give him massive credit for turning out this normal. This is as normal as it was ever gonna het for him. Corey Haim was not so fortunate
