One Week by Barenaked Ladies has a lot of 90s references that I feel are a little obscure. In contrast, Hey Leonardo by Blessid Union of Souls is only one year younger but has 90s references that people still get nowadays. May just be my personal opinion though.

The one ending with "got" is a pile of wood. The cigarette colloquisiam doesn't end with "got"

The Replacements has songs that both didnt age well and some that are more topical than ever.

Not many young folks would get Left of the Dial as a reference or understand what an Answering Machine is, though they would relate with the themes of both songs.

On the flip side is Androgynous.
