This is awesome. Full Rainbow concert from 1977. Ronnie James Dio was in his prime and sounds so good.

I don't have many regrets in my 51 years, but not seeing Dio live is one of them.
Consider myself very lucky to have met him in Irvine in 2007.

That Rainbow in Munich concert was with Aussie - Bob Daisley on Bass after my friend Jimmy Bain got kicked out of the band for partying too much.

The sound and video for this concert is pretty great for 1989.

I was just thinking to myself last night how impressive it was to be this successful after realizing their first album officially in 1983, and 6 years later, Boom, on the And Justice For All tour.

I saw Megadeth at the International Ballroom in 1998. The web says Coal Chamber was the opener. Not sure if that building is still even standing. It was a huge piece of crap shopping center/warehouse. I saw Marilyn Manson in this same venue in 1997.

All this just proves that I'm getting old and my parents were pretty lenient.
I'm also a Streetfighter, 10 classes older than you and I was also at that Megadeth show with Coal Chamber in 1998.

Fast forward to 2005 and I'm at a friend's rock show at Club 7969 on Santa Monica. I look over and I see this long haired Mexican dude who looks kind of familiar. After a few minutes, I realized it was Meegs from Coal Chamber.

I was like - wow, that's random. This was before I realized that all these guys know each other.

That was also the night that I saw the old lead singer from Kingdom Come doing blow in the front seat of his 1989 Mercedes in the parking lot. I had never seen anybody do rails of cocaine before.

I've been learning Diamond Head's "Am I Evil" which was the only song of theirs I knew. Listening to their album while walking my dog, not a bad song on here

Was not expecting to see Vola mentioned when I came here. Big fan of the newer wave of "prog metal". Dream Theater announced their US tour last week. Bought tickets for it. Can't wait.

I have seen DT once. Gigan Tour in 2004.

I want to see them again. Thanks for the heads up

This is metal-ish. Body Count usually does heavier stuff, and it sounds like Gilmour turned up the distortion a bit
