Yeah, we will probably pass on season 2 as well. The storylines where they focused on BBT and the actual oil bidness were interesting and I enjoyed them. All the other story lines were pretty brutal. It was also hard for me to get through the scenes with the son and the widow.

They for sure got off the rails with the nursing home deal.

I pray that when I'm so old and feeble that I have to go to an old folks home that my kids pick one with roadies to Rick's Cabaret.

At one point Dayne's Craft BBQ was planning to open in that space but they pulled out and moved to Aledo.

I could do with much less of the wife and daughter story lines. Just show the daughter walk by in those underwear a few times an episode and focus on Billy's character.

Good news. So did Season 2 filming actually start before the renewal occurred, as was reported earlier in the thread?

Recently talked to a new englander who mentioned watching landman and being super into it.

Now I know how New Yorkers and New Jerseyans felt when the Sopranos was a big deal.

Daughter will be featured prominently in the celebration scenes after her stud quarterback boyfriend leads Odessa Permian to the state championship.

Kinda hoping ex-wife and daughter get trafficked by the cartel and that'll be the end of 'em.

I'm really happy for all of you who don't know anyone like the women in landman. I wish it wasn't believable. (except the nursing home thing which was super wierd and dumb but I guess is her redemption arc)

And yeah, Ariana is super young, so its perfectly believable that she bounced back from pregnancy quick on her first pregnancy as little as she is.
