I just saw "Before Sunset" and I'm glad I did. I loved "Before Sunrise" back in 1995 when I saw it at the theatre, but I sort of forgot about it.

Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, Slackers, School of Rock) directs both of these movies. They are rich with dialogue, european scenery, truths, romance, philosophy, angst, etc. I would think most would like these films unless they only like action movies or can't sit through a talking heads movie.

I think there is a very good chance we will see a third installment. Ethan Hawke (Jesse) and Julie Delpy (Celine) are great in both. In "Sunset" Celine's guitar song and sexy imitation of Nina Simone were brilliant.

If you haven't seen "Sunrise" definitey rent it before you see "Sunset".

Anyone else seen either one of these movies?

I can't stand Ethan Hawke... so I probably won't be seeing these.

I am looking forward to seeing the new chapter in this story. I really enjoyed the first one.

Huh. I was just reading about this in DMN this weekend. Never heard of it. Sounded interesting.

"Before Sunrise" is one of my favorite films. Haven't seen Sunset yet, though, but have heard wonderful things about it.

The two characters from both of these films (Julie Delpy, Ethan Hawke) appear in "Waking Life" in a ten-minute segment. The director of all these films is Richard Linklater, who also directed "Slacker", "Dazed and Confused", and "School of Rock".

I liked "Sunrise". I liked the part in "Sunset" where they sang karaoke at that weird party. Oh wait, that was "Lost in Translation". Ha ha!

I'll catch "Sunset" on dvd.
