Cirque was my first thought. It would be perfect for KA, but Pink Floyd would be mind blowing. George Strait? Maybe not so much. I would say though that it's without a doubt the number one thing to see in Vegas at the moment, even if you just watch it for free from the outside.

Looking at the prices for U2, I won't be visiting this place any time soon.

Friend told me her ticket was $140. Not sure what you're seeing.

Did she see U2 or the movie that shows there?

The movie has tix that cheap. U2 prices are shown below.

That is $140 face value for U2.

Coworker went on opening night and said it was absolutely incredible, both the venue and the concert. The wife and I are going in December. Bought the package with 2 nights at the Venetian and tickets on Friday night. Expensive, but honestly in line with what I thought I would pay for a U2 concert and 2 nights on the strip on a weekend. Should be a good time.

I think if Hans Zimmer live could somehow play there and incorporate the movies on this screen it would be absolutely incredible.

The sphere is just nuts. My buddy sent a picture from the golf course a while back and it looked other-worldly, and a bit distracting. This doesn't do his image justice...

They don't even look real. My mind tells me they are all photoshopped on there and it can't be an accurate depiction of the sphere itself. I didn't know this place existed until 2 days ago and now I want nothing more than to go there. Absolutely Incredible

I can picture Strait at The Sphere... They just alternate where on the sphere they display him standing at the microphone singing. Now he doesn't even have to move to each side of the stage!

I am 100% in on seeing someone at the Sphere. Just not sure I like U2 enough to pay that kind of cash.

They need to revive the 2000s rave scene and have an all nighter in there.

Coldplay is an obvious choice. Not just any band can pull off that venue. They can.

You know Taylor Swift is going to happen.

I'm glad someone said Muse - this is right up their alley. Muse and Tool, I'd get stupid for.

Thinking about the production, imagine how specialized the graphics programming is- producing something like that probably as big of a lift as anything; not only 360 horizontally but 180 vertically- it's like a... sphere

I know I'm in the minority, but the whole thing is just off-putting to me. I get that it's amazing tech and completely unique, I'm just not a fan. It sort of evokes an uncanny valley feeling for me.

Could definitely see this happening with Shapiro being involved and I'm sure they could get as creative with the thing as anybody out there, although my brain can't process what that would like with Kuroda in the mix.

I'd say the most visually stimulating bands/artists I have seen over the years are Tool, Roger Waters, and Depeche Mode. Give me any one of those and I'm all over it.

I completely get what you're saying. I'm not kidding that my brain legit can not believe those are real images posted on this thread. It just does not fit with anything the human eye has ever seen. I think it would be absolutely awesome to see in person from the outside just to kind if convince myself it is real.

I dont think I'd care to see a concert there, but you can sure as **** sign me up for a custom made film. As someone said before, the concerts are really more like watching a movie with a one band soundtrack. I would be fine with something like that as well.

The Sphere really is marvelous. Definitely a cool concept, even if it's not everybody's thing.
Also, the U2 hate on here is insane. They are iconic and one of my favorite bands.

Should be a good show but good luck with the traffic. With the F1 race coming up in November it is going to be a total ***** getting around anywhere near the strip. Prepare for a lot of sitting in traffic jams...

Face value for the Alabama game is $100. If you know anyone selling tickets for that price let me know.

Was this to see U2? Or was it to "The Sphere Experience" featuring Darren Aronofsky's Postcard from Earth?

Tickets to that movie range from $49 to $249, so I could see that. I can't find any U2 tickets for less than $500.

I read something online that said the first U2 shows...tickets were in the $100's until leaked videos of the concert hit social media and immediately prices skyrocketed.
