They added that just so they could peel it off like a reptile shedding its skin so they could call the movie Reptile

Not all reptiles shed skin. But all reptiles are cold blooded. That's your connection.

The wax was supposed to be some sort of treatment for his hand wound that never seemed to heal.

I said she'd skin because they found a snake skin in the house and pulled the treatment off his hand like shedding skin, so it makes a lot more sense than cold blooded.

finally saw this

enjoyed the cinematography and the acting was excellent

a lot of stupid moves by Benicio which in real life no detective would have done.

Yes ... Domenick Lombardozzi, who played Dom on "Entourage."

He's also in the Paramount+ show "Tulsa King" with Sylvester Stallone.

best scene was Del Toro and the construction worker his wife invited to the dance.

no beating around the bush.

Technically that was Square Dancing, which made just as little sense. DIdnt understand why they liked it so much….and square dancing was nationwide in the 70s…and this is present time…weird.

Movie was entertaining enough but the overly ominous music every minute was silly.

the stupid wax at the end symbolized him shedding his old dirty cop past, the bite marks were needed to re-open the case which had been closed, maybe the faucet was supposed to be a gift for his boss with MS or just a super weird product placement? The paint got on the lady and ex because they'd meet up and have sex at the properties according to the junkie girl

Just watched tonight and really liked it. Deltoro was great, the ending was a bit cliche but still enjoyable.
