I just finished this yesterday. I had started watching it a few years back but did not really find the first few episodes that captivating. Due to such high praise I decided to give it another chance. Yup, it was every bit as good as Breaking Bad if not maybe a tad better.

My top three favorite in no particular order:
Better Call Saul
Breaking Bad
The Shield

I also watched The Wire which I thought was really well done., but due to recentness, The Shield is my preference.
