Yeah. It's terrible. I don't know you make something as interesting as the life of Enzo and Ferrari look so formulaic and uninteresting, but here we are.

Side note I want this to be good for both Driver and Mann. Mann is 80 years old so we're not going to get much more from him and he's made some of my favorite films of all time. I'm also optimistic that this movie can help me forget all the bad Italian accents from House of Gucci, I need those gone from my memory.
I'd say it's 50% about the racing, and 50% about Ferrari's relationships with his wife and his mistress, which is more compelling than you might think.
Also, don't go in expecting to root hard for Ferrari or his team - this isn't some underdog story or anything like that - but it's still solid, and my whole family thought it was worthwhile. Just an interesting slice of history, with one absolutely insane moment in the third act that left our jaws on the floor (and it actually happened in real life).
Don't go in expecting to have your hand held either. You're kind of thrown in the middle of it all, playing a bit of catch up, but I liked that about it, and you get caught up soon enough.
Again, it's nothing special, but definitely worth at least renting at some point, as it's one of Mann's better efforts over the past couple of decades.
