The Orville was actually shockingly good and not what I was expecting.

Ted was decent and some family guy tidbits. To be honest I have no interest in watching simpsons, family guy, or South Park these days.

Family Guy had a run in the early 2000s where it was really good, but it nosedived pretty quickly. I don't think I've watched a single episode in the last 10 years.

one thing of note is that Seth Macfarlane doesn't write for Family Guy anymore and just does the voice. And anyone who has watched the Orville knows that he is talented as hell.

Also he has the balls to sing this at the Oscars (quite well actually)

I mean, the Simpsons came out when I was in 5th grade??? I watched what I could and then life goes on. Futurama was great.

Judge has a more cerebral approach, more range, and better overall career.

I watched a few episodes and it just didn't work. Judge is at his best when he sticks pretty close to people and environments he knows.

Rick and Morty was great for two seasons but its not among my favorites anymore. I prefer Solar Opposites if anyone hasnt watched that. The best animated series almost nobody has seen because its an obscure cable show is The Venture Bros.

Venture Bros and Sea Lab 2021 were my college jams on old school adult swim.

As for the thread, I call it a tie, Futurama and King of the Hill are both amazing in their own ways and I could go either way on declaring one the greatest animated show of all time.

I was born in 1980, and simpsons never really drew me in during the early and mid 90s.

Beavis and Butthead on the other hand; massive connection. Then office space, then Idiocracy, then extract.

Gilfoyle hacking Jian Yang's smart fridge on Silicon Valley is the funniest scene I have ever witnessed on TV. The "mean jerk time" was a close second. Judge all the way. And I do have a very special place in my heart for The Simpsons.
