Season 2 is awesome so far.

Ugh. Cruz with another fling.
Sheridan retreads numerous actors throughout all of his series. It's a fun game to play with every new episode release across his catalog.Blanco Jimenez said:
I was today years old when I learned that the actor who plays the doctor husband on Lioness played Lee Dutton in the Yellowstone pilot.
James Jordan is in essentially every single Sheridan show/movie.LouisHerbertWong said:Sheridan retreads numerous actors throughout all of his series. It's a fun game to play with every new episode release across his catalog.Blanco Jimenez said:

*Newest entry: Jamie's dead girlfriend from Yellowstone just made an appearance in Lioness.

Holy S…. Just got through the first 2 episodes of the most recent Taylor Sheridan show on Paramount. It has an All star cast and is about the most intense and captivating show I have seen in a long time. I know the guy gets some hate on this board for all the shows he pumps out but this could be my favorite Sheridan concoction yet- at least after 2 episodes. Be prepared for some next level, hard to watch scenes. But the kind of scenes that when the credits roll, you can't wait for next weeks episode. And the previews show Morgan Freemen yet to come? Count me in. But as usual I will probably be the only person on TexAgs who enjoys it!
It's entertainment. Not everything has to be based on reality because sometimes reality is pretty boring.LMCane said:do you have a military background?kerrag06 said:

it is so freaking annoying to see shows about "special ops" that make basic mistakes that any Airman First Class would know about.
that's why Saving Private Ryan is one of the greatest war movies ever made- because it is nearly flawless in depicting actual reality

Agree. Season 1 was longer and had a clear objective throughout. Season 2 started out all over the map and was disjointed. The objectives and focus of the first five-six were just kind of trashed and then the real objective and plot identified and it wrapped up in like two episodes.ElephantRider said:suburban cowboy said:

Yes, although fair warning the writing is sloppy at times. The plot of season 2 is kind of all over the place. Still entertaining and fun to watch, and visually well made.
The cartel was using human trafficking as a way to sneak in international/ME terrorist- ergo the suicide vest fella and the armed drones. We wanted to poke the bear in the ME to show that we can reach across their borders anytime as well and warn them to back the F off.Diggity said:
Season 2 was a bit of a mess. I'm still not sure how we ended up in the Middle East.
What's the point of committing all that time to the cartel plot only to essentially throw it out?
