I'm sure Cruise will obviously have a harness of some sort that will be digitally erased, but the jump itself will be real, and they've apparently been practicing it for over a year now, and were about to film it, right after the M:I7 press tour, but then the SAG strike happened and now they have to wait for the strike to end.

So, yeah, I have no idea what the context is plot-wise, but this is apparently the stunt to end all stunts...

People are funny….he's hanging from an airplane at an altitude that will kill him if he falls to the ground without any shred of doubt….but the comment is OMG the helicopter below him.

I think that was during the filming of Dead Reckoning, but I'm not 100% sure. I think the shoots might have overlapped a bit?

Just watched it today, as part of a rewatch/catch up of all the MI movies. I really enjoyed it, especially I think because I'm seeing them back to back.

Czerny always messes with me because I associate him so much with the Cutter character from the Jack Ryan movies.
