Anyone started this? I watched the first two episodes last night. It's entertaining at the very least.. I enjoy it so far.

Really? I am living here in Israel for several months and never liked that show for several reasons.plowboy1065 said:

Hijackers appear to maybe be held hostage themselves by someone else and are being forced to hijack this plane? When the lead guy made the phone call from the cockpit, he didn't seem happy about it and said "your move", implying they are dealing with someone who has leverage over them.
I was out of town this weekend so I'll pick back up tonight. But I had this thought as well. The entertainment value is solid though. Definitely keeps me engaged.ClickClack said:
Hijackers seem a tiny bit cheesy so far.

This thing is only 7 Episodes and we're just now learning about the Hijackers at the end of Ep 4.
After watching Ep 4, I do have a short list of characters I want to see meet their maker, starting with the annoying mother in the back section of Economy.
Note: She's not in Business Classplowboy1065 said:HollywoodBQ said:

I think she's been on every flight I've ever taken

One night back in 2019, I took a flight I booked at the last minute to get to Madrid and I wound up flying from Brisbane, Australia to Dubai in the last row of Economy on an Emirates A380.
Let's just say it smells differently back there.
I'm also calling it now, the bearded guy who barely makes it onto the plane (because of Elba) in episode 1 is the "mastermind" who they're all working for indirectly. If that is indeed the case it's a bit silly that he almost missed the flight unless that was his plan but Elba wrecked it by convincing them to let him aboard.bonfarr said:
Someone explain to me why the pilot and Elba both fail to use the work hijack when communicating? Who the hell would describe gun toting people taking over a plane as an incident so people receiving the message dont know whats really going on?
Stupid
Also the hijacker cast are all snarling constantly like they are super hard or something, the acting is a bit over the top.
On trains we call them Tailies. [/Snowpiercer]ClickClack said:HollywoodBQ said:Note: She's not in Business Classplowboy1065 said:HollywoodBQ said:

I haven't figured out who Elba is yet. At first I thought he would turn out to be the Air Marshall. For a popular flight from a Muslim country to the UK I can see the likelihood of a Marshall being on board high and Elba's character seems to know a great deal about commercial airliners and their procedures. After last weeks episode I am just not sure though since he doesn't seem keen to get overly physical with the hijackers and a Marshall would be armed. I kept expecting him to pull a Liam Neeson and start beating the piss out of the hijacker's one by one but didn't happen.
So who is he and what is his back story?
Agreed, I can't see how they'll land this plane, for lack of a better metaphor, in the next 2 hours with a satisfying conclusion.HollywoodBQ said:
5/7 of the way through and less than 3 hours until a presumed landing in London.
This show kind of reminds me of LOST where it started out strong and then I held on for 6 seasons hoping it would go somewhere. It had some adventures but basically wound up right back where it started.
In this one, we've had a bunch of side stories but we haven't really gone anywhere and at this point, there's only a minor amount of suspense.
I think he will come into play as helping the other passengers fight off the hijackers as I believe they made a reference to him as having special forces training or something during one of the first couple of episodes but don't care enough to hunt it down.TRD-Ferguson said:
I think the guy with the tattoos on his neck across the aisle from the doctor's family is going to come into play at some point. They keep making a point to show him. It's subtle but they make sure we see him.

Wasn't he the one that brought the bag with the guns through security in episode 1?TRD-Ferguson said:
